Was trippy as when it broke, we were right behind the start line at the fence, I'd just told a mate "this F6 has gone 10.8", and then you snapped it. Sounded like it was manual and the clutch slipped, revs went straight up and car went nowhere! Bad luck, but at least it didn't let go at speed! There was pics of an EL on another forum that had a tailshaft go on a dyno, cut up his exhaust, tore the auto gearbox apart, set off the airbags, and did some nasty damage to the floorpan.
