1. They do list ultralows for some vehicles in the catlogue, and even if they aren't listed it doesn't mean they don't exist. In the "superlow" section of their online catalogue you can see "U/LOW" next to some cars Jman, ring king springs for a part number if you don't trust the place that will be ordering them, because they don't list an ultralow for BA-BF MK1 in the online catalogue. Might end up being the same as the AU Ultralow part number... KFFL-57SSL I'm fairly sure that's what a mate had fitted to the front end of his BA.
2. Was trippy as when it broke, we were right behind the start line at the fence, I'd just told a mate "this F6 has gone 10.8", and then you snapped it. Sounded like it was manual and the clutch slipped, revs went straight up and car went nowhere! Bad luck, but at least it didn't let go at speed! There was pics of an EL on another forum that had a tailshaft go on a dyno, cut up his exhaust, tore the auto gearbox apart, set off the airbags, and did some nasty damage to the floorpan.
3. Fingers crossed for the weather this friday, I'll be there for a look if it's on.
4.
ED & Justin - 2 keys or 1?
Just one for me, cheers
5. I'm in, with boot button even though I have a ute
6. Aye Stef, I won't run cause I can't be arsed, but I'll probably come down for a look see What time you heading over west carnt??
7. I don't ride bikes, but wouldn't jumping on a 'busa from a 250 be like getting off your Ls and out of your mums '87 Corolla, straight into a Veyron?
8. LOL, I know the owner of that AU.
9. Great time Doogstar, it's crazy what the ZF XR6Ts are pulling. People thinking it's a freak should get out more, theres been a few stock ZF XR6Ts pulling around the 13.7 mark that I've seen, 13.6 on a well prepped Calder track is easy to believe! Good stuff
10. AU on LPG. Probably the most reliable falcon ever, cheap parts, and runs well on gas. Plus because they are ugly they are cheap as chips, probably get an AUII or III Fairmont with a few options ticked for that sort of money.
11. Looks tough as guts mate, very nice!
12. I think I'll be heading to Heathcote for their Sunday day Test n Tune on the 25th. It's a fair trek, but you generally get a fair few more runs in at Heathcote.
13. that's normal, with the TB closed the motor is going to create a vacuum in the manifold. When you open TB it will start to go atmospheric (0 on the gauge), then when you build boost it will start climbing into the boost side of the gauge
14. Bit harsh TurboDewd, there is at least 2 cones worth of 'inspiration' in each of those ads Ford marketing. Fail.

Tis a good name, but no one spells it right I dunno if your budget will stretch, but I'd be trying to find a BA MKII in manual, so you get the T56 6 speed over the T5, much better box. If you ever decide to modify it, at least you won't have to worry about the gearbox then. Good luck with it, Jared
16. 4 or 6 pots? Be interesting to see what I get out of mine. First car I've ever owned with brakes that are more then just "adequate", so I've been taking advantage of them
17. Good stuff! You're getting me motivated to get out there and give it another crack now too
18. Don't have a pic, but on a mates BA XT and most BAs I've seen, SSL/Ultralows bring the guard just down to the tyre. Are BFs a different spring? Maybe King stuffed up.
19. What did you get out of yours 6boost? I'll have to get mine to Calder on a cold night now, I didn't think you could 60' the stock ZFs so well, I'll have to have a bit of a play.
20. That sort of height is okay on the rear IMO, maybe even a bit more, but can you even get full lock on the front? It looks like they chopped the springs, and then accidently used the coils they were gonna throw away!
21. Fark me dead, that's definately not superlows. that's lower then ultras even. I've had some low cars, but that's probably even too low for me!
22. I've got a set of Dekas from Straughsberry's group buy here, still in plastic. I'll lend them for a test, and pay postage both ways.
23. BF MKII Tornado, 13.55 @ 106 mph, ZF 6 speed, 2.1 60'. Been meaning to head out to calder to see if it's got a bit more in it. Mates BF XR6T ute with ZF did a 13.82 same night.
24. So am I understanding this right, whats being said is that 968s are better up until they max out, then a set of drilled injectors is the preference over the Dekas? I understand the reasoning behind not using a massive injector if you don't have too. Seems a bit strange to me that drilled injectors would be preferred for the high HP cars though...
25. Yeah I had all mine out under general, completely knocked out. On Panadeine Forte for the next few days, not as bad as I'd thought it'd be. I recommend going under general. Hook yourself up an icy pole from the nurse when you wake up too.
