  1. How much did the bloke have on it, worked so well that he took it off carsales hahaha.
  2. Ah yep, Sunnys car. Should have guessed with the gas. Went good for sure, surprisingly good.
  3. Give the engine bay a degrease and pressure wash, whack plastic bags over the dizzy and coil first, they don't like water. Drive it around and play spot the leaks If it's leaking oil and water down the side of the block it's probably headgasket, check for milky oil. Need new pics, what colour EB is it? Victorian car?
  4. Pretty sure none of them got it, was too expensive to recal DSC for brembos and 19s. On topic of TC, how do ute owners find theirs? Mine seems to let me get away with alot (too much ) before it steps in.
  5. Mine does the hard shift into 2nd every now and again when cold, 44,000kms on it. Only time it's done something like a shudder into 1st is when it's been on the verge of a compression lockup under brakes, felt like axle tramp.
  6. Second the Proxes4, got mine for $340ea from a small local retailer, I'd guess 320 or even less would be a cinch with someone who was moving more. Better then the stock Dunflops in the dry, better again in the wet. They seem to wear pretty well too, done 23,000kms on them and the fronts are around 40%. Dunlops were on markers at 25,000. AAA+ tyre, would smoke up again
  7. I get the exact same problem in mine, with stock suspension. Ford fix it every time I take it in for service, reckon the U bolts for the leaves are loose. Been meaning to have a look myself, but when they are fixing it under warranty I find it hard to get the motivation
  8. Yep I'll be there with a few mates. Indulge my inner bogan and smash a few beers, sounds like a good weekend to me
  9. Phwoooar, sounds nuts! Should be just a little bit of fun
  10. Pier 35 at night is alright, got decent light and the westgate above you. Theres some good spots in docklands too, some of them are federal property closed to the public though apparently Pier 35
  11. What issue would a G6ET have that an XR6T wouldn't? Will LSD induced sideways motion dislodge the reversing camera and cause the car to roll over and explode? Or do the G6ETs come with Firestone tyres?
  12. I agree 110% Wiping greasy fingerprints off wheels would be nice too. Also getting the seat and steering wheel back to even roughly where I left it, while it sounds a bit wa*ker-ish, it's one of those little touches that just makes the whole thing a bit less of a chore Warrantied suspension packages like benjam mentioned would be nice too. The little 'customer service' touches are really the main area for improvement though IMO.
  13. Depends on your boss' personality, and whether you are easily replacable I guess. I've never been in the situation, but a good mate of mine was offered another job (he's a sparky). He let his boss know that he was thinking about taking it, and his boss straight away matched the offer, and gave him a few extras (taking the work van home + fuel card). Having said that, they were desperate to hang onto a fully qualified sparky because it's hard to get decent ones down here. If you are doing something where they could replace you pretty easily, it might not work so well
  14. Arrgggh dammit, I'd just gotten over watching this, now you've got me back onto it! "hey Trent, gimme me back my purse, I'm gonna come and get yooou just f**ken relax aye"
  15. I'm with BFHOON, probably be the connector for the solenoid that switches the BBM.
  16. I would be in for any of them. I'll vote for Calder though because it's close to my house
  17. Haha, I remember when I testfitted a mates set of FR19s on my ED, old man saw it and called me a poof for not getting new rims sooner Toxic Beast, might not be any help to you depending where you are, but a good mate of mine had no dramas getting his BA XT lowered on king ultralows all round at TTF in Sunshine. He then had the rears compressed about an inch at The Suspension Centre, only negative being one side was like 5mm lower, but he could never be stuffed taking it back. They checked what height he wanted the rear by getting one of the "heavyset" blokes that worked there to jump in his boot
  18. Last of a series vs the first of a series. Easy choice in my book!
  19. They are easy to put back in when they fall out, it's just getting them to stay there when you are putting it back down that is the tricky bit
