  1. yeh you are right mate car weights 1769kg's with fuel and driver so if you remove the head it's must then weight car = 10kg headlight 1759kg's ha ha ha
  2. Hey mark we have scaled the car about 12 months ago since then nothing has changed it weighted in at 1769kg's with fuel and driver car had convo pro wheels and slicks and f/runners as is.
  3. Were not interested in doin that yet, we think by pullin weight out of the car there will be even more traction problems.
  4. 1100hp about write , bigger rubber would be nice, looseing a few kilo's only from da driver
  5. I was at Calder Park lastnight with the Gtech boys... after trying the power to the ground on the first pass the car had traction issues! On the the second run the power was put to the ground still ONLY with 1.48 60FT the car managaged to do a 8.71 @ 164. A huge congratulations to Rick and Denise (Gtech); Andrew and Con (Preston Automatics and Differentials)for all the tireless hours put in to the car!!
  6. Speaking to Bill and Vele a week ago they have organized the vehicle to be TEC inspected, so after that they want to do a couple more meetings here before they make there way to WSID
  7. What can I say one of the worst Ford National meeting at Heathcote Raceway, I guess no surprise due to weather conditions and grand final day there wasn't many XR6T's overall not a good turnout. The GTECH Citric BA straight off the trailer first pass ran a PB ET 9.29 @150mph-60ft 1.400, then not long after pissed down rain what a bad day for racing.

  9. hi im the owner of the purple ba. the nine inch conversion weighs near the same weight as the I r s. we have nothing at all to hide. If your sus about the cars don't be shy to have a closer look. we dont bite. if people would stop judging the cars from a distance and had a proper look you would notice that my car even has a factory fitted tow bar for towing my 20 foot boat. the other has a full cage. and yes the cars do have premium sound and full factory interior. GTECH are not interested in reducing any weight, we have no need to at the moment. both cars have heaps more power yet to be used, due to the traction issues. we are still to sort out the four link setup before using more power.

G day mate I'm the onwer of the Purple GTECH BA my car is not a dedicated drag car it is for street/strip, at present you haven't seen me at the Princess hwy reason being is the boys from GTECH are sorting out rear end of the car which has a 9inch with adjustable 4 link & coil overs if you have a look at commodores and many other factory cars they have a four link suspension ,the only difference to ours is ADJUSTABLE. Once we improve our launch/ 60ft area you will see me at the PRINCESS HWY driving it, and towing my new boat the beach . If in case you have been stuck under a rock for the past two years GTECH & PET have merged yes they do have a Dyno Dynamics (chasiss) and no the CITRIC ACID BA runs a MICROTECH ECU not MOTEC buddy, and it is tuned by GTECH/PET
