  1. Hi guys, Names Michael, Member for a while now, learnt alot from you guys. Interested in this offer, as it will suit my xr6 turbo quit niceley, Currently ussing a 8 psi gen tune kit supplied by intune motorsport, running at about 9 psi, Car pings on the 10 psi Needs bigger injecters. Whens the deadline and how do I go about it, Mike,
  2. When I took my 4sp Decepmber 03 XR6 Turbo, the best time I got down the 1/4 was 14.41 but mostly 14.5xx I was using the Tiptronic , leaving it rev out to 5900 rpm, I question the quality of the tyres at the time. It was completely stock, and I hammered it the whole way there. 1800 RPM stalling with the brakes on, my take of was really good.. After speaking to a few people, I realised that the best change is at 5000 rpm, the xr6t's don't make any power after that. Since then, I've removed the muffler, f6 snorkel, 9" K n N pod filter "Drag" bought the flash tuner from intune Motorsport waiting for it to come today hopefully, 10 PSI generic tune. Removed the Rear Spoiker, and added stocky's on the back. Ph, and SS XR6 Turbo Inductions with the metal panels pushing the air up.
  3. Last time I looked in to the matter, I was speaking to a workshop in sydney forgot the name, they said that there waiting for the HP tuner software to be released for the Ford B series. The way the software works is it replaces the existing software in the ECU with its own HP, apparently it can be pretty customisable. The reason why that specific workshop was waiting for that software is because, they reckon theres not enough money in using the flash tuner, a true custom tune can take a fair few hours and they don't reckon its worth it, where as the HP stuff is way easier to custom tune, this doesnt' mean it has more potential then the flash tuner, though it means more beginners will be able to do a better job, if you ask me and you want a true tune, NIZPRO and CV performance do a pretty good job. Even though the 2 k tune from nizpro is a fair bit expensive, its compensated by them really tuning it, I know simon can anyway. I'd stick with the flash tuner at an expirienced place.
