ah k cool, well once a month will be enough to vent the urge to drive like a dick head on the roads... what about tuners?? or a good place to service the car at least?? im a bit worried about not getting it done at HPF cause when I first got my T and had it serviced at other places (which I wont name) I had nothing but issues with them and there work. HP-F have been great and im just a bit cautious taking it somewhere else after bad experiences in the past..

Hey guys, well im moving to Tasmania for work and I was wondering if there are any good tuners in Tasmania to tune and service my T? because I was planning on taking my T with me. also is there a race track or anything fun to do down there in the car except for running over animals (I hear there is alot of them on the roads).. also I couldnt find a tasmanian section on the forum? is that because they are all related down there or something? or arent there enough people on here from Tasmania? hmmm anyway should be an interesting journey, hopefully it wont be too boring down there with the car, although ill be pretty much flat out with work anyway. luckily I'll be going on the next VIC cruise as its about 3 days before I leave... cheers,

I doubt this is true.... my boss has a LS1 clubbie, 287rwkw and I can keep up with it until about end of 3rd gear when he starts to pull away a little.. so a 300rwkwk XR6T vs 250rwkw LS1 would be a whomping, the T would kill it (if it gets traction)!!! if both cars were 250rwkw and the Expensive Daewoo was a VT then yeah it would be close

Hey guys, I am gonna have a bit of money to throw at the T (not heaps but enough) could probably afford $1500-$2000 and I'm after an intercooler with hot and cold side piping and a UBP air intake with pod filter. after a plan to buy an intercooler from a forum member didnt go quite as planned, I am waying up my options of doing the intercooler properly and getting a half decent one from a site sponsor. So I have been looking around at our site sponsors and I have been impressed with all 3 of the cooler companies in one way or another. ITS SUCH A HARD DECISION. The Rapid Systems High flow Kit V3.0 is one of my options, I think it represents great value and looks fantastic. The piping is exactly what im after and is currently my first choice, but details on results the cooler has given are a bit hard to find, I might not be using the search feature properly but I am pretty sure a few forum members use the cooler and are happy with them. I like the way the cold side piping is laid out. The Process West Stage 1 Kit looks like the one from Process West that I would go with, but im really not a fan of the piping at the front as I am getting a GT front bar soon, and I dont know if the piping at the front would look any good, so I would probably have to get some custom piping made up for it. But I do like the look of the specs and results that are listed on the web site in regards to dyno graphs and more importantly to me intake temp results. but once I add the UBP air intake, pod filter, hot and cold side piping this option might be getting up there in price depending on what the costs of those items are. Plazmaman - These products look like they are just fantastic build quality, and from what I have heard are one of the best. With this brand I am either looking at the Street Pro Performance Intercooler Kit, with Hot side piping. or the Plazmaman 800HP Intercooler Kit with hot side piping and cold air intake kit. This I know is probably the best performance option that I am looking at but is also by far the most expensive, costing in total about $2000 + tuning costs. what I really want to know is for what I'm after is any of the coolers going to be better than the other. I AM NOT CHASING MASSIVE POWER. I really would only like to get a smoother ride, have boost come on smoother and harder, hopefully get a bit more mid range power and most importantly lower intake temps with winter on its way out, so temperatures will start getting higher. any help on this would be greatly appreciated, as you can see I have tried to do as much research as I can and that's why im asking you guys who probably have experience with the coolers? I will probably be looking at buying something over the next 2-4 weeks depending on a few things. THANKS GUYS!

I have a mate who has a N/A BA and his Cat has collapsed and he needs a new one. let me know on a price if u want to get rid of it and I'll pass on the info to him. im also looking at replacing my cat at the moment too, so the x-force one seems like a good option. How much did it cost to get your cat fitted?

hey guys, im buying a 2nd hand IC off a forum member, and its a bit dirty. ive heard that you can use something to clean them to ensure that they are working better than if they are clogged up with crap. I seen some photos once on a website on what they can look like. what should I use to clean it? I think its like aluminium degreaser or something right??? thanks in advance

XRDOSE your car looks HOT mate. im not so sure about a F6 without the spoiler though, looks good but something doesnt seem right... might just be the photo shop job maybe but im not sure. not entirely convinced and im a big fan of no spoilers usually. would have to see it in person I think.

HRMMMM maybe time to get headsexed? ive been very happy with HP-F service but there have been a couple of things in regards to the tune that they have had to fix over the last 6 months. I'm confident they will help me out though, they are great down there and have always helped with any issues ive had, some places would just turn you away. im more worried about #2 and #3 than the tune cause im sure they will fix that. but the other two im not to sure on. any thoughts on them?

by hissing, do you mean like a soft whistling, maybe like a loose hose or something? there is a hissing / whistling noise that alot of BA's make and its just a general engine noise I think because my friend has an N/A BA and it makes the same noise as my T which is just like you described, his car has it louder than mine too. im not exactly sure where the noise comes from but I am pretty sure its the same as what your hearing and im pretty certain its nothing to worry about. my tuner has never said anything about it, but its always done it.

thanks senna I will be seing my tuner. do you think the car is safe to drive because of these problems, because chances are they wont be able to fix them tomorrow, and I got a bit of driving to do over the weekend. also does anyone else have any different ideas or input on this?
