Yeh its wierd real hard for me to explain but yeah one day it was fine any the next day I drove it just happend all of a sudden litilarty ill try explain a bit better. keeping in mind all gears change and go in fine the is no grinding or clunking, nothing. gearbox and engine mounts are good and the rubber seals are also good the gear stick itself is good and tight say I select 1st gear and take off hard, the box seems to twist horizontaly, the harder I give it the more it will twist 2nd gear is ok but still does it only abit though. Mainly in 1st where all the load is on the box. if I drop back to 4th to 3rd its fine, 3rd to 2nd its fine only happens when accelerating hard. if your looking at it when in first and you see the twist say I keep the go hard to 3500rpm onwards it looks like the gear is in 3rd if I go really hard it will look like its in 5th (though I havent given it that hard, im just assuming) as I said the problem is mainly from 1st to 2nd Hope this explains it a bit better Thanks Guys

Yes it is a T5 Yeah the gear stick twists to the right like the whole box is moving..... Hard to explain....... Any other sudgestions guys... Thanks

Hello people just wondering if anyone can help, I have a 2002 xr6 n/a ute, (manuel) If I drive normally everything is sorta fine, but say I try to tramp it through the gears the gearbox sorta twists.. mainly only in 1st where all the load is. Its hard to explain but say im in 1st, then put my foot down through about 2000rpm onwards the more I accelerate the more the gear stick will twist to the right. 2nd gear is not bad and the rest are fine. All the gears go in fine and no grinding, eveything is smooth. I have checked the gearbox mounts and engine mounts and they are fine. I dont want to spent to much money if not necessary seing I plan to sell the ute after all is fixed. Any help from anyone would be great. Thanks Guys......

Hey all, Just after some thoughts and sudgestions. I have a 2002 ba xr6 ute (manuel) and I want to turbo it. just wondering if I should rebuld my motor or get one built. Getting a half cut is also a option but dont know how much that will cost , any ideas? IM looking for around 250-300 rwkws. Any thoughts of what I can do and some rough $$ amounts. Ive already heard the "just sell it and buy a turbo" so all help would be appriceated. Allready have LSD and will change the gearbox when I do the conversion Cheers guys....

Thanks guys!! Just one other thing probally been talked about b4, but with injectors is it worth getting new ones, or a clean or whats the deal with getting them up to performance again. How much does it cost is it a job for a qualified person or is it a simple job to do yourself. reason for this is because I took my TB off and noticied there was a lot of SH*T that has passed through. So im guessing the injectors are bad!!! Car not running as good as it could :(
