I assume that you will get the Mercury Silver then? That would have been my choice, but the missus chose Blueprint. We already own a Silver car! (like that matters)

For those interested in seeing one, there is a Blueprint XR6 on the floor of Ethridge Ford Vermont cnr Rooks rd and Canterbury. (Vic) The pics don't do it justice! :D :D :D

There was a Red (Venom) XR6 at the Doncaster dealership a week or so back. It's gone now but I did think it looked great. The missus vetoed it though so I'm set on the Blueprint now.

:( Not on the road, but did spy a red turbo on the floor of Strapp ford in Doncaster a few days back. It's gone now though so I suspect some lucky bugger is driving it! :D

My missus also takes charge of the colour department in this household. I was going to buy the silver but the missus went coulur shopping the other day (2 days before the new son was born as it turned out) and decided that blueprint was THE colour, having banned silver (we own 1 silver car already), didnt like the red, narooma, or purple. I hadn't really considered the acid rush, thought it too loud but I must admit that the pics DO look great! Perhaps if I see one in the flesh prior to placing the order I may change my mind. :o

Yeah know what you mean...I draged the little lady and 3y.o. to a few dealers a week or so ago...needless to say the dealers thought I ws just a tyre kicker with that sort of baggage! I'll use any excuse to check out the BA XR6 and try to spot a turbo.

So this evening I'm sitting at home with the missus who is just about to drop the latest addition to the family. I get called out to work which takes about an hour so do I rush straight home afterwards? NO! I go cruising the local Ford dealers to see whats on the floor. Doncaster - Red turbo, Ringwood - White N/A. Do I need help?

If you ask my missus, she'll tellyou that the XR6 Turbo is THE new religion! :lol: :lol:

Hi there. I have tried loadin a BA image as my avatar. the quality is crap, yet I see many others have done same and look great. What hve I done wrong? I took the pic of choice and changed the size using photoshop so that it was the max size of 64 pixels wide.

I'm surprised that you are expecting delivery of the XR6 Turbo in November! Most dealers are quoting me late dec, early Jan, In fact one dealer Courtnet and Patterson were claiming Feb may be the earliest! Perhaps they are just trying to scare me into placing an order. I'll keep shopping for the best price for a while longer. Anyway, good luck and PLEASE share your Turbo experience (new love affair) with us here.

B) I think that the XR6 Turbo may already have a cult following based on the number of pre orders claimed by dealers that I have visited in the past week or so
