BTW at least you dont have 98ME...that was CRAP. Go XP I did recently andlife is good. System stability is far better than it ever was on 98SE or ME. And system restore acutally works too...it has saved by a$$ a couple of times

is it possible that the card is not supported by 98SE? Are you using the correct driver? did you get a disk with the card. Does the wireless card appear to be OK when you look in the system hardware, device manager under control panel? I expect the lan card should show up under network adaptors and if you right click on the adaptor and select properties, you will see if the system thinks it is working properly or not. If it has a yellow ? next to it then the system does not think the device is installed correctly - right click and delete it and reboot so it can be re detected. You can also update the driver there so perhaps try another driver. Have you tried doing a update on the microsoft site and seeing if there any microsoft drivers available for the card. keep us posted...no pun intended... :lol: :lol:

there are quite a few threads on this problem... It is a known problem with some having minor interferance and others having unbarable interferance. FOMOCO are aware of the problem an are working on a fix (I believe)

FWIW, I just had my 30K service and I asked what oil they put in it. I was told 10w30!! I discussed what was in the little blue book and was told that a service memo was released with changes to the recommended oil. I have asked for a copy. will keep you posted

I usually run Caltex 91RON (Fleet card restrictions) but have tried all the major ULP's an PULP. I have not noticed a difference in any way

The owners manual states that the tubo is tuned for 95RON but can run on 91RON. Does that mean buying 98RON is a waste of money? BTW I was in a Caltex station the other day and I asked what their Vortex was and I was told 96RON I asked if they meant 95RON and was told NO! 96RON
