I've followed a few BA XR6's on the road and they all appear to have a slight timing difference between the main lights on the car and the light in the spoiler...or at least that's what I see. It seems the spoiler comes on earlier and off earlier. Is it just an illusion because of the LED's in the spoiler and standard globes in the lights? or due to relative size - the spoiler has a smaller area? Or is it actually due to the way in which the body control module activates them? :hiwelcome:
If my brakes on my BRAND NEW $50K car need machining that soon, I'll be asking for new rotors. That is simply not good enough. 'Cmon Ford, you gotta do better than this.
Perhaps but hindsight is always 20-20... IMO Ford were very brave to rock the boat with the AU. They had vision and creativity in that project. Just a pity they didnt do better marker research before they were committed to the project. I'm sure that with a little more refinement of design and better QA from the start it would have been a winner. Either way the BA will make up for the sins of the past...of that I'm sure :D The E265 or whatever it will be called is just further proof of the vision of the future that Ford has....
Heres a theory.. what if the transmission has a Lock Up Torque Converter in 4th but not in 3rd Then perhaps the coasting revs in 4th would higher because there is no slippage, but in 3rd there would be slippage so the revs could be lower? So what's your tacho doing in 3rd Vs 4th? BTW - what I "know" about auto transmissions could be printed in bold on a postage stamp with plenty of room for a portrait of the queen...
1984.....I remember that. I was a 3rd year apprentice, working 7:30 - 4:00 for a measly $131 per week. Catching a bus and a train, then walking 1km to work....hanging out for my 18th birthday so I could get my licence....
Yep! And MOST dealers will take a retail sale over a fleet sale any day 'cause they want the retail profit not the repeat loyalty of the fleet buyer who purchases EVERY 3-4 years rather than the retail buyer who purchases, on average every 6 - 10 years...
that's a long wait but worth it. are you fleet? BTW - there IS a difference between retail and Fleet, my original order was pushed out by 2 - 4 months once retail demand skyrocketed....Fleet are usually last on the list.
