Yeah, delivery slipped a week but I'm not too fussed, it's still at least 2 months ahead of my original dealers time frame. ETA 18th Feb WOOHOO...think I'll get the missus to ring in sick for me on the day
Nah..can't do that 'cause she knows that the insurance will cover ANYONE as long as they have a licence and are not drunk/on drugs. She read the contract that came with the lease papers
Doesn't sound good at all. Production quality can vary but surely the QA should have picked up these faults....and what about the pre delivery??? Aren't they supposed to pick up these things that the factory may have missed? Good luck, I hope Big Geoff reads your letter and sorts things out for you
Yep, most modern headlight lenses are made of high impact resistant polycarbonate so the protectors are IMO useless. The bonet protectors are UGLY so I'll take the risk. I am interested in the clear plastic film though, instead of mud spats.
Subject: TURNING TFT COLOUR SCREEN INTO NIGHT MODE Models: All BA Falcons fitted TFT colour screen Summary: TFT colour screen fitted to vehicle has a night mode, enabled by the volume/power button. Information: Any vehicle fitted with either Satellite Navigation or Premium audio system has a TFT colour screen fitted to the Interior Command Centre (ICC). So here I am patiently awaiting the arrival of my new car.....today I am asked to go to the US for training for 2 - 3 weeks starting 25th March. The wife is already planning to take the car away while I'm gone. It'll only be 4 odd weeks old, barely run in. She's a real lead foot too. I'll have to fit the baby seat, and the booster seat in it.....man I can just see the baby puke stains and the food/drink spilled all over the place.....She'll probably park it at the safeway and christen it with a trolley or something too...
No, got the call Monday .......a few more days, probably mid next week so that makes it the 19th. Still smiling though, I was kept up to date and fully informed about progress so that's something I guess.
Theres nothing "Super" about and extra 19kw above the standard V6, especially when its only 171kw @ 5200 rpm (PULP) 375Nm @ 3000 rpm (PULP) Sounds like a piston/belt driven hairdryer to me
Thanks Cam for the detailed explanation.....being in electronics myself all that theory sounds familiar in a distant (oh say 15 years ago) sort of way... I suspect that it is really just an illusion though....
