While at FPV open day I was told that the difference between the GT and the GT-P is that the GT is XR based and the GT-P is Fairmont based in terms of interior specs/options. That would explain why you dont get climate control in the GT.

I met up with Superoo and a (hopefully) soon to be new member, Bernard at the FPV open day. Sure is nice to put a face to a name. Next year we should make sure we are all wearing our forum hats and shirts, or better yet have a stand of our own :lol: and then there are no excuses for not meeting more folks. Anyone else meet a fellow forum member at FPV open day?

I just discovered the console has a niffty place for a pen and your fuel card....perhaps I should read the manual and see what else I have missed :lol: :lol: Card and pen holder

heres how I ended up mounting my phone, used a single 8mm bolt that hold in the ICC. phone mount 1 phone mount 2 And heres what the ICC display shows during a call ICC display during a call BTW - its pretty cool actually. The volume setting is independant of other modes so you can have the CD really loud and the phone at normal levels without having to reach for the volume control when the phone rings

sorry to all...the camera battery went flat at the crutial moment. I will post em later tonight for sure. I do have a few pics of SATickfords car as well. BTW I hear that Mrs SATickford is the one who keeps the car immaculate.....apparently Mr SATickford "only" drives it! :lol:

I've got a "few" pics to share too so watch this space. Even snapped the SIDO of as many cars as possible so hopefully some lucky fellas will have pics of their cars at FPV. Something Ford can't provide :D remember you saw them here first... :lol: Later tonight I promise, just gotta sort them all out.

Today I gave the car a little more than usual on a wet road and it "mis fired" again. I am convinced that it is the traction control doing this now. And before you ask...NO...I won't be trying it with the T/C off just to be sure :D
