With just on 1500km now the latest average I have calculated is 15.8lt/100km which matches well with the trip computer figure of 15.9lt/100km. BTW the figures on last tank only were 16.8lt/100km

Today I noticed that when I slowed and braked firmly the engine almost stalled. I was able to replicate this a few times. It is almost as if the extra load of the A/C wasn't being compensated for and the engine revs dropped below about 500rpm for an instant. I only happened though with a firm stop but not a gentle one

Now that sounds like the best way to "mod" my car.

why would I pay the 9c/lt extra when I can just put it on the fuel card....although I donot believe the PULP is worth the extra so I'll probably only put it in once in a while to help keep things clean. Oh and I like lite beer :lol:

BTW I didnt end up with the presenter, I thought it was flimsy and impractical....so when the dealer said there was nil stock I wasn't too unhappy to drop it from the order.

Today I finally got round to ringing Leaseplan about PULP. I can use PULP if I want. I'll give it a try sometime.

You may want to make sure that one of the speaker (audio) wires is not also ground on the phone AND car audio side 'else you may short the I/p to the audio system. If they are, just ensure you match 'em up. What sort of phone do you have? I have a 5110 series phone kit so I can take some pics showing wiring if it is helpful.

Withe the old VT it was start and go, no matter how cold or how much of a hurry I was in. I just can't bear to jump in the new car and drive off especially in the mornings as it's starting to cool down here in VIC. I let it idle until the auto choke cuts out and the revs drop a little...usually not more than a minute or so but may be longer in the middle of winter. Am I worrying too much. Is this a bad idea?

The picure may be decieving 'cause it is actually mounted low on the ddriver side inner kick panel near the heater outlet, not on the steering colum as you post would suggest Either way, it does seem to be in a less than perfect position for general use.

Mate, the installer had not done a BA install before so he looked the info up in the manual and found it there. Let us know if you cant find it there and I'll chase it up for you

Some have already noticed that ther paint finish is a bit lacking in the boot and bottom of the doors. I noticed yesterday that there is a similar problem with the bonnet if you look down through the gap under the wipers. the hinges and end of the bonnet have a LOT of exposed undrecoat. Not happy Jan

I've got 2 fuel cards there and no problem. Perhaps an extra card for support may help

no for some reason the digital camera has a hard time with some of the metalic paints...especially phantom and congo :( next year perhaps a stand will be there mate the picure was take at 11:12 am to be exact... :lol: thankfully the program I use preserves the date/time info when downloaded.
