A paging system "sounds" good. But lets face it, unless you have the car in the driveway where a standard alarm would be heard, you would probably only return to your car to find it gone or damaged. You gotta ask yourself "How fast can I run 300m, 600m, 1000m" If you really want to do something hi-tech, go for the satnav/tracking system that will tell you where your car is and/or going to. IMO - Just a gimmick but different stroles for different folks After all how many XR6T's are gonna get stolen....they aren't exactly the rarest cars about so they dont fit the profile for organised crime and joy riders will usually be deterred by an alarm and the imobiliser system. It's more likely that a window will be smashed to steal your cars contents. Oh I almost forgot to mention, I got the standard Ford fitted system.

I agree. I've had the car 3 weeks now and I had it washed for the first time yesterday.

The VT had a foot rest. I don't realy miss it in the BA....but the wife does

Is this them? At a guess, I'd say the lower one with the heavier cable goes to the trailer wiring and the upper one is used for the reverse sensing system....but that's just a guess. Which did you plug in? What did you plug into it?

relax max.....chill out, the car will arrive. many of us here have been thru the same pre delivery stress. It is WORTH IT my firend. The smile on your face when you finally get it will erase all trace of the hassles you have experienced. :D

I think you mean Premium not available in Utes, Prestige is the 6 stacker option for the Ute but does not have colour TFT screen or sub woofer. Traction control is not listed on the Ford web site for any Ute Check out BA Falcon Ute Specs

Just topped the 2K mark, I took the car for it's first long drive yesterday. Went to Castlemaine, round trip was 286kms and used 33lt which works out to be 11.56lt/100km (24.4MPG) which is not too bad for the lumbering beast it is....

taken at 13:29...and I did use the flash.

just out of curiosity, I checked out the rear brakes on my car (standard brakes) and had the camera handy so I snapped this pic thru the rim....I'll see about taking the wheel off some other time. Seems that the pad coverage is not too different
