  6. Sure thing.....but I just remembered that I'll be in the US for training from 20/3 to 15/4. So unless you car is late arriving you'll have it before I get back. :D I'm sure other members will want to catch up though, then you can post some pics of the new car and some of our members too
  7. Let us all know well in advance when you're coming over...perhaps we can get a few of us together to meet and have a beer. After all it's not every day you come to Melbourne is it

  10. Mine is registered and insured privately, as is the case for all novated leases as far as I am aware
  11. Superoo, with no SIDO and using a Fleet CO. Have you considered changing dealers? I did and got my T at least 2 months early. There is a thread here about what I did.... How I changed dealers Just a thought...Talk to Craig Waller at Westpoint, he hleped me and may be able to help you too. FWIW - Most leased cars are insured on a pooled insurance, that is they have 5000 cars and pay, for example $750 per car per year regardless of model/type. My car is insured thru my leas Co and is well under $1000 P.A.

Westpoint also have experience in selling to interstate customers. One member from Tassi will get their car sooner from Westpoint than their local dealers.....and cheaper IIRC.
  13. Yep already covered in the following thread Unichip Mods etc
  14. Fair point in terms of max before mod Vs max after, but their claim is technically correct given the gain is stated based on the same place/conditions on the dyno graph.
  15. that's really poor! Our Daewoo had a similar problem. Firts up macjine, then replace rotors...all at no charge and they didnt EVER mention cost. :D They just gave me the keys and said this is what we have done, any further probs let us know. Maybe Ford should send their service guys to the Daewoo service management training course
  16. I like that!
  17. and you live in the NT...or else you'd be in big trouble.....
  18. do you reckon they can make some mini SLOJAM plates for the model as well...
  19. nice pics Dagabond. You'll have to hook up with some of the other VIC guys and do it again
  20. I have my car and I still log on at least once per day on average. The facts are that only about 10% of our members are regular contributors. By that I mean post a couple of times a week on average. The only way we will beat this "record" is by all members being more active on the forum.
  21. Tonight while playing about with the idea of illuminating the window switches, I pulled the cover on the fuse panel to remove the fuse for the window controller....Could not find it without the manual 'cause there are no labels (that I could see) In the VT and the Daewoo there is either a sticker or the locations are imprinted on the cover.

why would Ford mod the engine spec beyond a tweak of the ecu program so early in the line up....
