  2. Biante models and the like for the BA series has been covered a few times already. AutoArt Models XR6T Diecast Model, Coming Soon.... Biante New Falcon Models, BA XR8 - New Biante Model I think it is fair to say that when the models are actually available there will be quite a few members wanting them.
  3. And they would never sell the 6 stacker again....... Who amongst us would pay the $900 for the premium sound only for the sub woofer and the colour screen if the standard sound had MP3 compatability making the 6 stacker for the most part redundant. Perhaps it could be an additional feature on the premium package.......
  4. Wasn't there some reference to the Frenchman being the reason the chicken ended up on the other side....and him doing to the chicken what Jacques Chirac did to Moruroa atoll

    Xr6t Questions...

There has been much praise and some complaint about the XR6T in this forum, however as an owner MY experience so far has one of absolute pleasure. I have over 6000km on the clock now and no sign of diff or brake problems that others have experienced. Are these problems related to driving style? Are they more apparent in manuals? Who knows, all I know is that my cars is (so far) trouble free and I love it. I follow the Ford recommendations.....I drive it as long and as hard as I like and get it serviced as per the schedule. Apart from that, I always warm it up for a t least a minute and always drive like a granny the last block or so to home/work. No timer required IMO. I dont have leather...I wanted it but not enough to wait for it. The standard leather trim is very respectable for the price. If you are thinking after market, then IMO dont get the side air bags. I'd trust Ford to get it right but not an aftermarket job.....
  6. Is there anypne with a "post march" build car planning to attend the Melb cruise on the 25th? I got mine in mid Feb and would like to hear the difference if any actually exists
  7. Heres my latest fuel economy stats from my run to/from Albury. Up 10.8lt/100km Back 10.4lt/100km (must have been down hill... ) Average 10.6lt/100km Ran PULP (95RON). To quote a hero of mine...these are a beautiful set of numbers:D
  8. That was a typo...should have been 14.9 to 14.6

    $6850 Off Xr6t

Is it a once off loss leader to get people in? Is it a demo unit? BTW a local dealer here in Melb is having a clearance sale prior to relocation and they have a number of XR6T's on the floor. I'll try and get pricing just out of interest
  10. still running PULP and a quick trip up the Hume to Albury today saw the trip computer drop from 19.9l/100km to 14.6l/100km. The DTE also went from the usual 400 odd km to 450km after a while. All in all I 'm happy with the city and Hwy economy of my beast :D
  11. I have it in MP3 and WMA (160kb) format. Both files are about 5MB ea
