that's the first I have heard of it ...still doesnt make it right IMO. DISCLAIMER....  This post contains the personal opinions of the poster and in no way reflect the thoughts, attitudes, or opinions of the Forum owner(s).
maybe so but I still don't like it......it's bad enough that the wanna be's get their grubby hands on the bits from wreckers etc....Ford dealers doing it is just not Kosher IMO.
I thouht some here may be interested in the installation instructions on the auto lights on module. All I need now is a circuit diagram of the car electrics and perhaps some info on the control module for this expensive (IMO) bugger and I should be able to mod it to do what I want. I have scanned in the pages as jpeg 'cause my OCR package didnt like the pics. BTW I checked the doc first and found no mention of copyright, confidentiality, or non disclosure. Page 1
oh well there goes the Neighbourhood....... So much for all the hype about needing a VIN to get the "good" stuff! What next, Ford dealer approved turbo kits for taxi's! I wonder what the official FOMOCO attitude to these bastardised cars is. So much for exclusivity
I run either depending on the price and have a fleet card for BP and Caltex/Ampol. I usually use BP simply because there are more around. On sunday I was running ULP from Caltex. So far there is no noticable difference in fuel economy running 98,95, or 91 otcane fuel. It may be in the mind, but it does seem smoother on the higher octane stuff though.
hope you dont take us too seriously...we were just poking some fun... :D Glad you like it though. I reckon yours is great too And I'm sure there will be a knowing smile and a wave as we next pass in the Knox carpark...
We didnt actually meet but I'm reasonably sure I would recognise you in a line up or at Knox... SLOJAM - The song by New Order used in the Ford Ad! Just can't get enough..... I thought THAT would be obvious to a BA XR6T Ford owner :D
I have to agree, my baby seems smoother and more responsive since I "unleashed her" for the FIRST time since I got her.....sad really since I have over 8000km on the clock. BTW the trip meter shows low-mid 13's for the first time. I havent filled up yet since the trip but I expect that the fuel economy will be suprisingly good given the driving since the odo and the dte add up to over 550km.
Acording to the FPV website the GT $59,850 plus ORC, and the GT-P is $69,850 plus ORC, with the Pursuit Ute coming in at the bargain price of $54,850 plus ORC Prices are Manuals with NO options I think I'll stick with my "T"
