As a "T" owner I must say I love it, however I had the pleasure of driving the N/A prior to purchase and if $$ had been the limiting factor I would have been more than happy to drive the XT, Futura or N/A XR6. As you so rightly state the XT has the same power as the N/A XR. It's all in the breed mate. You have a fine car and no one can take that away. I find a friendly wave works wonders..... so far I have had the same back on most occasions....but then us Victorians are a friendly bunch :D

perhaps they could install slot machines in our cars so we could gamble while we drive...imagine that! Then we would be too busy to notice the speed signs and they would get even more money :lol: :lol:

It all comes down to bang for bucks...they get a FAR better return of revenue by putting out stationary canera cars compared to actually driving about nabbing the other more dangerous drivers. At the end of the day the State Governments are only interested in the money and tax by stealth IMO Bring on a Federal republic void of states and then perhaps we will get some sensible uniform road lawas and perhaps even decent speed limits on freeways and in rural areas.

The T/C is on by default EVERY time you start the engine and when switched off there should be a orange icon on the instrument cluster depicting a wheel spinning. The same icon will illuminate/flash when driving IF the T/C activates due to loss of traction.

Andrew, IMO, you are spot on....they are probably reallocating your car to retail sales since they get a bigger profit sooner. It's the standard pecking order...fleet and Gvt orders are last ONLY followed by employee discount orders. Can you change dealers or cancel the order due to them not providing the car "on time"? I had a similar problem and was lucky enough to find a dealer (Westpoint in Melb) who were able to GUARANTEE me a car, then I cancelled the original order. Got my car 2 - 3 months sooner than if I stuck with the original dealer.

Ill see what I can do.. not really up for a long drive! but yeh could be interesting.. any other Sydney members willing to do a Syd-Melbourne cruise for the dyno day? maybe pick up a few guys from Canberra and Albury along the way. Drive safe though!

I pulled up next to a Phantom XR6 today and tried to offer the occupants a calling card...they just stared and then laughed

I have edted the firts post and included numbers.... BTW I have astrong preference for it NOT to be the 24th August as I am on call for work and it is hard (but not imposible) to swap. I'll wait and see where the numbers fall before I get too worried though.

I was more thinking that if you have 2 or 3 kids and have to pay the family price, then just adopt someone elses kid so they get in free.....you are no worse off and someone will save a few bucks.
