the ignition switch will have a 12volt ignition feed out that is on with the ignition and also while cranking just pick it up from there and fuse it! easy as, as for the colour I dunno of the top of my head mate! PHANTOM XR6 he doesnt mean it has to always be 12v as your rigfht during cranking it will drop to 9-10 volts but as long as the feed doesnt cut out during cranking the gauges can continue calibration. gauges dont need anywhere nere 12v to opperate anyway for exactly that reason
