Yeah I don't think wd40 is the best option. I was thinking maybe silicon spray with needle.

how do you stop the sun visors creaking? it seems to mainly happen when the car has been sitting in the sun.

if it leaking from the sensor you can just replace the sensor with one from a V8 model. Edit: just seem you name so I assume you already have a v8

mine is a britax meridan it has belt clamps on either side. I pull it down quite hard into the seat and close the clamps.

Its a sad time for Australian car manufacturing. Ford, Holden, I assume Toyota and maybe Kenworth (I know it's not a car manufacturer) too. I do think that the world will end up having to turn to nuclear energy in the end, maybe we should be mastering it now.

I had mine apart a little while ago a found one of the rockers bent causing a window to not work some times. I just straightened it and cleaned all a terminals and put it back together! works a treat.
