  1. Yeah I realised that Bayswater isn't too far from Ringwood and I was even considering heading down to Ringwood to check out SVO Motorsports initially. As I said I don't mind a fair drive so I'll give these guys a call sometime during the week. Thanks mate.
  2. Not too far off Anyways, guys any recommendations and thoughts? Thanks
  3. Ah I see you're a young XR6 P plater driver, just like myself Where abouts in Hoppers are you situated?
  4. Nizpro Turbochargning on Barry St in Baywater? Hmmm that's rather a far stretch from me, since I live in Hoppers Crossing. Oh and what were your experiences with Mick Webb?
  5. G'day guys, I'd like to get some recommendations on a good ford mechanic preferable in the western suburbs of Melbourne, though I don't mind a fair drive since a colleague of mine recommended me SVO Motorsports in Ringwood. Reason is I'm having some concerns with my Ford XR6. I'm getting a weird shuttering sound coming from the engine. It usually occurs when the engine is cold and idling, when I drive the sound goes away, but when stopping or slowing down to around 10 - 20kmph, the rusty shuttering sound begins again. The weird sound ceases as the engine is warm enough after 15 - 20 minutes of continuous driving. Anyone got any idea's what the problem could be? Another note - When I got my car serviced by ford two months ago, they told me it was the bearings in the water pump seizing up, they fixed that, but the sound had come back like 3 - 4 days later. I'd greatly appreciate some recommendations and feedback. I want to get my baby checked out and fixed asap, as I have been leaving it off for too long :(
  6. I checked under the bonnet before for the paint. M7 is it Thanks mate :D
  7. Do you know what the paint code is for Mercury Silver?
  8. Hey Venom, Ah alright, I'll go check out my local ford dealer and ask them. So how much paint did you get for 8 - 10 dollars? Oh I don't need allot of paint, very small dabs.
  9. G'day guys, I'm new to these forums and just want to say, what a fantastic forum this is I drive a XR6T 2003 Mercury Silver. My pride and joy, but I have a few small paint chips I'd like to fix myself. Anyways, can anyone recommend me touch up paint for mercury silver/grey? I've only bothered to go to Super Cheap Auto to have a look at their range and I can't seem to determined which is the right color match for Mercury Silver. Any particular brands or stores in Melbourne that I could visit to acquire the paint. A helping response would be highly appreciated. Cheers,
