  1. Well done mate. Must be awesome to drive....
  2. Now there is a car that has aged well. They still fech a pretty penny to.....
  3. $80 to flush a radiator is an absolute joke. Its probably only a 15 min job and less than $40 for coolant
  4. The auto in the NA's and turbo's are the same, the tailshafts are stronger in the T's, the diffs in the XR6T and XR8 are the same.

I heard about the site on Ford Forums and also saw the club sticker on the back on Dagabonds car when it was in at Craig's shop.
  6. 95,000 kms on a 2004 model here. Still running sweet.
  7. Cool, thanks for all of the responses guys. Much appriciated.
  8. Thanks for the kind offer mate. I am waiting for a couple of things to fall into place before I start the engine build but I will shoot you a PM when I am good and ready. Cheers
  9. You do make a good point and I have already thought about this option. The thing is that I am not chasing the sort of power to justify building a motor with forged internals. The main reason for this is because I dont want to have to spend a fortune on rebuilding the BTR 4 speed every second week.
  10. Thanks for that, I guess I will have to keep hunting around. I still have not been quoted any less than $3,500 yet though.......
  11. Hi all, I have been floating around these forums for a bit now and have read alot about being able to purchase BF F6 short motors for around $2,500 (I have even heard as low as under $2,000 in some cases). I want to build a stronger motor for my BA Mk 1 turbo. Where are people purchasing these F6 short motors for under $2,500?? Every time I ring up and try to get a price on one I get told it will set me back at least $3,500. Any help on where I can pick one up for around $2,000 - $2,500 would be much appriciated. Thanks
