  2. Well didn't go to Peddlers, end up talking to a tyre shop that recommended a nearby suspension shop. Tyre shop said they won't do alignments on Fg's due to the time required to get them right. Suspension shop checked the alignment and it's still within ford specs. Currently sitting at Left camber - -1.13 Right camber - -1.05 Sent from my D6653 using Tapatalk
  3. Hankook Ventius V12 Off to pedders this morning for the safety inspection.
  4. I'll assume that wasn't directed at me. No not atr's, first tyre was a fallen and this tyre is a hankook. I'll post a picture of the wear tomorrow morning. Sent from my D6653 using Tapatalk
  5. Car isn't lowered, no potholes recently hit and an alignment done by Tyre franchise who did it to ford special apparently. This is the second tyre to do this. Sent from my D6653 using Tapatalk
  6. Hi guys, Quick question, my FG Mkii has 132k on it and I'm about to replace the springs and shocks. However the left front tyre, relatively new (10,000k) is rooted, really excessive inner wear but the wear isn't uniform around the complete circumference of the tyre. Anyone have any ideas on this? I am getting a Pedders suspension check done tomorrow. Thanks Dennis
  7. Extra info, I removed one by one all fuses and found that the noise would stop when I removed the 10A fuse for the HIM, ALARM, Diagnostic Connector Anyone have any ideas regarding this?
  8. Hi all, I have a FG XR6T Mkii with 125,000k on it, I'm the original owner. I noticed this morning after I called into the local shops that when I got into my car after leaving it parked and locked for about 30mins it had developed some sort of electrical noise when I unlocked it and sat inside. The noise sounds like a switch turning on and off and is coming from behind the stereo area. I tried sitting in the car and locking it and unlocking it however that made no change. I went for a drive and noticed nothing different then parked it and locked it for about 5 mins, no noise, got out and left it for about 10mins and when I unlocked the car and sat inside the noise was there again. No I've had the car locked and sitting for approx 45mins since the last time I heard the noise so I thought I'd go and check, nothing, no sound at all.. Anyone come across this before?
  9. 4 MkII 19" rims and tyres for sale.. Located in Rockhampton..
  10. Loving the idea of pissing the rear muffler off, would put an end to thumping I get from the fat ford one banging on the car. Is a tune required after doing this mod and the mod of removing the resistor ring?
  11. Not much luck with insurance, apparently the wheels weren't damaged enough.. Such is life I guess, good excuse for me to change them as I could justify the genuine ford price for 2 rims and tyres.
  12. Well 2 of them have damage, 1 more so then the other, I was going to keep 1 damaged one for a spare and see if I can sell the others, 3 tyres have 15,500km on them.
  13. Stupid me, they haven't 'been' fitted, they are 'being' fitted...
  14. Well new rims and tyres been fitted Wednesday, ended up going for Versus Eurolace, 19x8, will post a pic when they are fitted..
