My BA Turbo started missing under load, the car was driveable if I feed the gas slowly, but under load it was making less power than a Barra Gas motor. I replaced the sparkplugs (plugs in the car were only 35k old) using the expensive plugs as specified. This appeared to fixed the problem about 98%, but she still had a slight miss at high revs. I drove the car for the next 2 weeks & the problem seemed to go away, so I thought it was cured. Jumped in the car to drive to work one day & the miss was back - Doh! Took it to Ford & they replaced no 1 & 4 coils. Car is like new & appears to be more responsive than before the miss happened. Replacement coils are $75 each from Ford, lucky the old girl still has warranty, so Ford covered the cost. Car has 148k on the clock. Hope this may help someone with the same issues.
