Hi all, I found this in yesterdays paper; "A 22-year-old man has been charged with serious driving offences and his car impounded after he was nabbed driving in excess of 200km/h in Noble Park. It is believed the Dandenong Traffic Management Unit attempted to intercept a car travelling south on the Princes Highway when it accelerated and took off down Elonera Road around 2am on Sunday 14 June. Police caught up with the super turbo charged 2002 Ford XR6 at traffic lights at Lonsdale Street in Dandenong and commenced a pursuit when the car allegedly ran a red light. The TMU van followed the car a short distance to Foster Street but abandoned the pursuit when the vehicle is alleged to have almost collided with another car after running a red light. Police took the registration number and arrested the driver a short time later at an address in East Brighton. The man, from Bentleigh East, was charged with conduct endangering life and person, driving with a cancelled licence, manner and speed dangerous and numerous other traffic offences. He was bailed to appear at the Dandenong Magistrates Court on 4 August. The vehicle, which had a modified gear box, was impounded."

Roll Cages - any vehicle running quicker than 11.00 MUST have an approved roll cage. Anyone can have a roll cage fitted as long as it has the required protective padding! lucky!

I've been through 3 sets of globes on the fog lights.... have you driven a BA lately?

The only good thing ford have done so far is put an inline 6 and a turbocharger together.... Brakes, suspension, diffs, transmissions and paint quality is average, but at the end of the day I still love my XR6!

You need to get it tuned as the tuner can also calibrate the gear changes which is more important then getting more power. I went down the path of cooler, airbox and generic tune, which then ended up with a slipping gearbox and a slight power increase over standard. Just save the $$$ pick-up a used flash box and get a custom tune that will include injectors and valve springs. www.nizpro.com.au need I say more
