  1. https://s3.amazonaws.com/rmd/ford/ford-territory-sy.zip try that 146Mb
  2. Any feedback on how the uni came off to get the centre bearing off. I have the same issue. Bout to replace it but want to know how.
  3. Yeah there is a step by step on here how to do it. On my phone so finding the link a bit hard. But I know it is good and detailed. And involves a few steps of " have a beer" so it's my kind of tutorial.
  4. Yeah mine has like a rattle. Sounds like a coin somewhere. It's road speed dependent. Had most of it apart but can't find anything. May be a flap come loose or something. The fan goes flat out randomly then all works ok. It's weired and annoying its intermittent. Just when I get motivation to change the him it comes good and I don't touch it. It seems like it does it if I put the fan to full, like the variable resistor sticks or shorts to earth. Think I'll give the fan changeout a go. Seems easier than the him. Oh and the filter you seem to forget about gets pretty gross. Recommend people have a look at it.
  5. Yeah for some reason the fan and him has power all the time. So guess the him gets a bad earth In it that is random. The only way I can stop mine is pull the 40A fuse or the fan connection under the glovebox. Bought a him off eBay for $150 so I can have a play with the old one and have a backup if I stuff it up. Anyone opened a him module before?
  6. I have same problem. I disconnect the fan under the glove box which is easier than the fuse in the bonnet. Got a him module off eBay for 150 but haven't fitted it yet so don't know I this will fix it. Interested I someone comes up with a fix. I'm the same bout 2 years on a 2002 ba and does it randomly.
  7. Tyre pressure gauge maybe. With reg turned right down. An old inner tube inflated to a set psi could do it to with the gauge in line.

Rigs would be nice but you gotta know someone or be lucky. I've been trying to no avail yet. Mechanical fitter. Used to work on boats have bosiet and still trying. Well all good things come to those who Wait. If you wanna do something don't take no for an answer as no one else will do anything for you usually.
  9. Cheers. Link didn't work but will look it up when I'm home. I saw an aftermarket one in street machine that looked ok and wondered if anyone knew the price. The website I looked at didn't list it. And too lazy to ring them.
  10. Anyone know the part number for the 4 speed trans to drive shaft coupling. And a rough price for stock one or who to get a stronger one through. Any help is appreciated as mine is bout to go.
  11. Nullabor road house was the only place that I had to detune to 95 for. Had a couple of Jerry's too for piece of mind. Every where else I got 98. That was 3 years ago though.
  12. If they want it bad enough a tilt tray will rock up and just pull it up and off they go. Maybe some if the south African anti car jacking things. Like flame throwers that shoot up the doors.
  13. http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbobygarrett/ Has all you need to know. How to work out a/r all the compressor maps and how to plot on them. Good read.
  14. Could be shocks. The rubber bush flogs out. If it does it over bumps this could be it.
  15. You can get them regassed. And up The gas in them to give them more lift. Can't remember where does it. Or the cost vs new ones.
  16. Get a lock smith to have a look or ring them. They may have an idea on it. I went to one and he pulled the lock barrel out in about a minute. Couldn't fix it but showed me how to get it out. That's when I dis the above trick. Bit strange for the anti theft thing to just go without tampering.
  17. There is a thread on the fix for this if you mean the key won't stay in the run position. As in it clicks back and turns off. I commented a few days ago to someone that had the same problem. You have to remove the cover of the steering colol (however you spell it) push the lock housing in. From centre console to key. (left to right) And then get a small hammer and punch and peen or crimp the lock surround or sleeve so that it does not spring back. This puts the spring pressure back onto the lock barrel detent that holds the key I'm it's position. Then I put a small amount of araldite on it to hold it in so it doesn't pop out again. Mine has lasted bout 3 years. Hope it helps and saves you a grand or so. It did for me.
  18. There is a thread on here somewhere how to fix it. Done mine twice. Its just pushing the barrel surround in and peening the sleeve. Got 3 years outta mine. Just need 3 hands to do it.
  19. If it's just the mirror the mirror and plastic surround pulls off from the motor plate. Think you angle the mirror down and out. Did it the other day and instructions come in the replacement mirror box. $37 from coventries if I remember. Hope that helps. 
  20. Your an ankle. 3 foot lower than a c*nt!
  21. Flat out like a lizard drinking
  22. sorry had a few beverages butstill dont believe sealant should be used on brakes lemme know what youthink of this http://www.loctite.sg/sea/content_data/93815_243EN.pdf 22deg @ 100% strength for 243 for brake fluid. I'm sure calipers reach more than this. Not wanting to undermine any one but with breaks you dont stuff around. I love the idea of self bleeding nipples cos it would stop the misses whinging bout a sore leg pumping the breaks whie I bleed em. Its just imagine IF? the insurance company found the cause of brake failure was thread sealant tape. (Which the fluid will probably dissolve) but just in case?
  23. The tapers look to be a different angle, maybe its just my eyes. will still seal though. Loctite 243 is a thread locker so will hold the nipple (he he he) in once tightened. Once you crack it it the sealant will be hard and flakey, not what you want I breaks(ABS modulator!}. Pretty sure 243 will crack with not much heat on it or even a spanner with a slight bit of muscle. I know we use heat to crack 620 (green High strength sealant) on rifle flash supressors, they get bout as hot as breaks I'd say if not hotter and they are still hard to get off .
  24. White smoke would be water (eg steam) oil would be a grey/blue, and fuel should be black. well that's in my experience anyway. Sometimes its hard to tell though. If turbo seals are gone you would get a fair amount of oil in the compressor output side or if its the turbine side blue smoke.
