  1. lol, yeh that would have been me... you should have tooted
  2. He does both I believe, I personally have stainless dump/cat and mild steel back. re cost, I would ask Chris directly...
  3. I had 280 with a tune and injectors... then did exhaust, IC, fuel pump, turbo mods etc.
  4. fark, sorry guys... The exhaust is awesome. I had a few things done with Chris at the time and reached 348rwkw. But, the big difference I noticed after the exhaust was the response down low/ lack of lag. It sounds amazing and isn't loud inside, which was important to me as I have kids and hate cabin noise in general. I reached awesome power, the noise stops traffic when I touch the throttle and the cabin noise is minimal... I couldn't recommend them more. I am going to get a video so you can all hear how insane it sounds. Here are some topics: http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=56142 http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=56192 I live near Campbelltown, PM me if you want to check out the exhaust in person. I will take you for a spin (literally )
  5. Here is a quick clip of my exhaust while stationary. I will get another while on the street.
  6. Cheers guys. Feels like a new car. Unbelievable fun to drive. Gave a couple of mates a drive who have tuned HSV's (GTS, Senator), they still can't wipe the smile off their faces. The performance to be gained from these things is astonishing. When boost comes on it is like being on a rollercoaster lol
  7. Hi all, The car is a beast! I thought it went well after I did the injectors and tune... A big thanks to Chris from Rapid Systems who installed all the bits for me including his new exhaust - which sounds tough as (will post a sound clip soon) and the boys at CV for doing the tune. Mods include: Intercooler - Rapid Systems V3 4" dump, 5" Cat, 3 1/2" exhaust Wastegate/12psi actuator Bosch fuel pump Custom tune = 347 rwkw img_3271321_0001.pdf - Dyno Thanks for looking. Luke .

  13. Hi all, A quick question... I have a Rapid coloured F6 and wondering which polish to use. Poorboys black hole (suited to dark colours) or white diamond (suited to light colours)... where does the Rapid fit? Cheers, Luke
  14. XRDOSE, where did you get that mount for the triple gauges? I have an F6 but the trip guages look awesome...
  15. they said it probably came from factory like that...
  16. it was a shock to all.
  17. mine was 190rxkw, running only 5psi... so not surprising with injectors and a tune it returned 280rwkx. She is in having a makeover at the moment and will hopefully hit some big figures.
  18. R-Spec, I just checked FPV-255 and it is available... WTF is right
  19. I'm in NSW, I ordered the black n silver ones. I hope that doesn't happen to me R-Spec... I did it on Monday, so hopefully all is OK
  20. Ordered new plates F6 FPV, cant believe they were available. Tried my luck and there they were... Thought one of you guys would have already snapped them up.
  21. I just ordered F6 FPV, couldn't believe it was available...
  22. Hey guys, Lost my license for 6 months and in that time all I could do was obsess over cars (funny that, want what you can't have)... so after looking at new cars, I decided to mod the Typhoon instead. I am 3 weeks away from getting the license back, so you can imagine I had a lot of time to research (or confuse things). When enquiring with Chris re I/C's he mentioned he is doing exhausts now. He talked a lot of sense and I decided to go with him, being locally made and supported is a huge bonus for me too... I am sure the interest is high with Rapid System's new exhaust, so I thought I would keep everyone updated re the install and the performance/driveability/noise etc. Should be able to get some install pictures and sound files too. I am getting a 4 inch dump, 5 inch cat, single 3.5 inch and go into a twin rear section. Can't wait! Regards, Luke
