  1. With all rear bushes changed to the super pro units; does the diff shudder and issue with bushes wearing out continue or cease?? Cheers
  2. Ok, best to do it all at once with the flash tune I guess. I know power can be made with stock cooler and minimal exhaust mods though I would rather get her breathing better to rely less on cramming heat soaked boost into it, cheers.
  3. I am aware that the standard ecu is tempromental when it comes to altering boost etc., but how about fitting a turbo back exhaust system and altering the standard intetercooler plumbing and front mount with stock non flash tuned ecu? Does the ecu except these mods? and if so is anyone aware of a/f ratios and rise in manifold boost preasure? Any help appreciated.
  4. A little of subject here, how does the T like LPG? All good?

    Picked Up G6et

Thank god the problem has been fixed, I was a bit upset when I heard the new spec turbo had in issue, do we know the new A/R ratios of the FG turbo?

Relax mate, the G6e has been tested and was one pathetic tenth of a second faster than the XR6T, maybe the tester went to the toilet between testing both cars and lost 80 grams of weight from his bladder! Very simple, if someone doesn't have handling as their number one priority and want a bit more class and comfort; you go the G6E. If you want less body roll and better handling, not to mention an LSD, you go the XR6T. Not even worth mentioning a car is quicker by one tenth. I heard there was a problem with the turbos on the new engine, a couple have failed and were recalled...... any news on this??
  7. I am still yet to buy, lucky for me though with the way the prices are going. My mate payd $35k for a BAII some time ago, oh how things have changed.
  8. that's why we have our cars to enjoy, to escape the nagging!!
  9. Fg turbos eat BF F6's so I would not regret nothing bro! Also I have seen a lot of white BFII's on carsales from NSW for $21k and under with less than 65k on the clock. Theses are cheap as Fu@#
  10. I would go with AAMI if they send that chick out with a tow truck when I make a claim! That chick aint bad, just gotter fix Tod up so we can smash that thing in the undies!

    Edit.

What is the process for a custom tune on the dyno? I know about downloading the generic tunes into the stock ecu but how is the dyno tune done? Is the flash tuner left plugged in whilst on the dyno, or is it first plugged in to put the ecu into a custom tune mode ready fo the dyno allowing air/fuel ratios and timing to then be freely adjusted?
  12. Firstly; Ayrton Senna is GOD, nice user name Yeah.... well I am starting to shop around for Xr6T's at the moment and I would love the ZF auto coz it is a sick box, just cant find any real info on what they really can handle. I read an article in motor magazine and after 2 hot laps of a race track (extreme example I know) the ZF auto XR6T they had went in to 'self preservation mode'. Now if this is the case with stock power, how quickly would the box go into this mode with some 200nm extra? :w00t2: Will check out what FSIX had done anyways.

Google XR6 Turbo and this is the number 1 result. No brainer for me to join!
  14. I have read that the ZF is built to handle 600nm, is this correct? at what point of HP have people been strengthening them? and what is involved in the strengthening process? Cheers
