Mine(ute) had a bad vibration in 'D' when stationary, ford told me they were waiting for a fix, Also had centre muffler replaced as it had come apart inside.

At least with Abbott as leader there may actually be an 'opposition'. Glimmer of hope on the horizon anyway.

Been away on a job in (Hot) Bathurst, thought I would be clever and get on the forums while away using my mobile to connect the laptop to the intermenet, fantastic I thought, wont miss out on the forums. However checked my telstra bill for the hour or so on the internet and cost me $120.in data content so had to go cold turkey and not be connected. May have to upgrade to a better motel that has internet when I go back next week. Teach me for being cheap. Anyway good to be back to see whats happening.

Yeah Pat, I rang ford customer relationship number regarding this and politely asked them to go to the FG warranty book and give me a page number where it states this . LOL. After a little while when this section wasn't found they decided they would ring the dealer. Probably be going after market sooner rather than later with my brakes but that was just too much of a challenge to let go.

Was just in my local Ford dealer to book my FG ute in for a new muffler as it has come apart inside and also mentioned that the brake shudder has kicked in big time. Apparently not covered under warranty as I have done over the warranty limit of 50k ????(I have done 55k) so I had a look in my warranty book to find exclusions and can not seem to find the section that excludes warped discs anywhere.

I was really impressed with the response at my local ford dealer recently when I found my exhaust developed a bad vibration when stationary in Drive. Was told Ford has been aware of the problem for quite a while and are waiting for a fix. I was so happy to hear this and am looking forward to a day in the far off distant future that they might actually fix the problem.
