  1. Or racing your mates on the abandon road out the back of Symonston - before they put the gate up there.
  2. Why are woman like clouds? Because eventually they piss off and it's a nice day!
  3. It’s the same shy-zen we already get isn't it? One extra "SD" channel for each of the 5 players…. What is so special about this "SD" channel?
  4. I don't see much point in them building them like that considering they make the 4" dump all one piece...
  5. What is the purpose of having the split gate on the 3.5" dump pipe? Considering there is no separate section on the turbo itself.
  6. Yeah, it’s spring loaded and should snap itself shut. Sounds like a repair is needed!
  7. There seems to be a white cloudy smoke haze coming from behind me when I flatten it too!!!
  8. I'm voting for people who have no consideration for others and no idea of their surroundings or others around them... Now, I don't have a problem with people doing the speed limit or even a little under in certain circumstances - but I do have a problem if those people are impeding others. My pet hate is people doing the same speed in the right lane as someone in the left lane. All they need to do is hop into the left lane and they can safely and comfortably do whatever speed they like and let other drivers pass. Not only is this common courtesy but it is the law on most two lane roads around here. I'm a huge believer in driving to the conditions. If I deem it safe too, I will go a little faster than the posted limit and I like to able to overtake people. Having said that, I will also drive slower if the conditions are bad but I'm always keeping an eye out for other drivers and making sure I am not in their way. I see too many people driving around completely oblivious to other drivers/road conditions and just carrying on their merry way like they are the only ones on the road. That is what causes all the frustration and road rage. Some of these people should ride around on a motorbike for a while and see how long they last not paying any attention. Natural selection can sort those toffs out!
  9. I don't have any stories about my cars because (touch wood) I have only broken down once in my life and that was when I blew the gearbox up in my old V8... But I have a million stories about broken down moto's in the middle of a forest somewhere! Me and a mate were riding in Talleganda State Forest one time and we were about 5km's down some REAL tight, single "pig track" when a stick punctured his radiator. This was 5km from the fire trail and around 13km from the cars so we were in fairly deep s.h.I.t!! There was no way we could walk the bike back because of the ruggedness of the country so we ended up filling the radiator with water from our camel packs and trying to ride the bike back. He would ride for about 50-100 meters before the bike would run dry and we would have to stop and fill ‘er back up. Luckily the track was criss-crossing a river and when our camel packs were empty we filled them up with water from the river and put that in the bike! After a few hours and a VERY slow trip we made it all the way back to the fire trial. Our next task was to make it 8kms back to the cars with no river and no water! Pushing was the only option! We started on our merry way when the ranger showed up. Keeping in mind it is illegal to ride the single track as you’re not allowed to venture off the fire trails and my bike is not registered and I didn’t hold a valid motorbike license... He stopped to see what we were doing and when we told him our story and he was good enough to turn a blind eye to all our "in-discrepancies" and throw my mates bike on the back of his ute and take it to the cars! When we arrived he sat down and had a beer with us, because god knows all we needed it after that little adventure! And after all that, we did no permanent damage to my mates bike! A new radiator and a good flush of the cooling system was all it needed.
  10. 5 grand - sidestep the clutch.... may not launch but at least it will look good!
  11. My other car used to do the same thing. It was because it was lowered and I didnt have a camber kit in the back of it. It would just scrub the SHlT out of the inside of the tyre. I would take it to get the wheel alignment checked first - should only cost you <$50
  12. Two Texans were out on the range talking about their favorite sex positions. One said, 'I think I enjoy the rodeo position the best.' 'I don't think I have ever heard of that one,' said the other cowboy. 'What is it?' 'Well, it's where you get your wife down on all fours and you mount her from behind. Then you reach around and cup each one of her breas*s in your hands and whisper in her ear; 'Boy, these feel just like your sister's. Then you try and stay on for 8 seconds.'
  13. Yeah I did a fair bit of looking around and research before I installed my kit and I came to the conclusion that it probably wouldn't over boost or go into limp mode (mine's a manual anyway) but I wanted to put it on the dyno just to make sure as I knew I couldn't get it tuned straight away. I installed the kit and had it on the dyno the next day and it was fine. No over boost, no boost spike and the AFR's were safe – even with the plenum. I got told that the ECU is "closed loop" so it will realise there is more volume or air going into the motor and adjust accordingly. Could be BS I’m not 100% sure.... but it confirms what I have seen... Good luck with it.
  14. The vette does a good skid! The boys from TGUK tested one in the latest episode of the new series. Clarkson laid "elevensies" down the road with it and then challenged the others to beat him. Hammond's challenger couldn't do it and May crashed his test car into the bushes while trying! haha!
  15. I'm doubting it has anything to do with the intake side of things as that shouldn't make it go into limp mode. The exhaust side will, but not the intake. I ran a way larger cooler, CAI and plenum with NO tune for 3 months and never had a hint of trouble. I had it on the dyno as well to make sure everything was fine - which it was. I would be looking at other items to be causing the problem before the intake system. In regards to disconnecting the battery - as said above - the jap cars will do it, but ours won't. Just get it tuned you won’t look back!
  16. So true!! Have a look at this page too. It seems more relevent. There is also a fix in case you dont have the vista CD.... http://www.anguas.com/?p=47
  17. http://news.softpedia.com/news/Get-Vista-O...SP1-78933.shtml That article gives you the gist of what has happened to it and a possible solution. I suggest trying to boot into “safe mode” or “last known good config” if you can and then removing the update as per the article. This will require you to turn off the machine, then turn it back on and press the delete key before it starts actually loading windows. (just start tapping it as soon as you turn the machine on and it will eventually get to the boot options) Failing this you may have to boot from the vista CD as the article says. Good luck with it.
  18. Already tried DBQ and another brand my old man got from his workshop and neither make any difference.... Also smoothed the outer lip of the pad off and that did squat too. I have tried doing a series of hard stops and holding my foot on the brake for a while and nothing makes a difference. Still squeals like a bitch. The only that stops it is shoving the hose in there and that only lasts about a day. That's why I'm hoping new pads might sort it for a while...
  19. Urgg... dunno what pads are in mine but I am SO sick of the squealing! It seems to be getting worse and I was hoping that replacing the pads might stop it for a while! The price you pay for performance
  20. Any recommendations for pads for the premo Ford brakes? (Not the brembo’s)
  21. I think a bit of wee just came out!! :laughrolling:
  22. He is a pro rally driver in the US. He gets everything paid for. Friends with Traivs Pastrana and those two just wander around all day doing things like that. Anyone who has seen the Nitro Circus vids will know him from the car jump and a few others.
  23. I reckon their V8's will flog the cr@p out of you.... Everyone knows they are far superior in every way to a 6T
  24. exarsixturbo

    Done!

You might be able to dispute the ticket just on that basis. Not filled out correctly. I’m sure some savvy lawyer can find some loophole to get you out of it
  25. I did use work's bandwidth over the weekend! Whoot, whoot! The show is frekin awesome. I've only seen the first ep so far. "Ray" is an absolute cack!!
