I know I thought these would have sold by now! Everyone interested is interstate. F6Mark yeah im procrastinating on a cooler and 4" intake at the moment so hopefully someone buys my wheels to give me the kick up the ass that I need to do it!
-
D1R's now for sale in classified section $1600 with tyres
-
Can't really see them too well but here is a photo I got last night while there was still a bit of light. (sh*tty iphone camera) ill have to get some more asap
-
absolutely love this thing! Im not a fan of the custom mix plates, (if you could get them slimline then yeah but not fullsize). xr8 bonnet would look tough too! either way your car looks amazing! I want to go a similar way with my F6 but being a ute theres less things to wrap! haha
-
ill also find out the offsets today
-
im possibly selling them. got a set of magic's lined up. The D1R's have 245/35/20 Falken 452 Fronts and 295/30/20 Pirelli P Zero Nero Rears. (Both have heaps of tread left!) Im finding out today about the magics so ill know later on. PM me if your keen and ill let ya know how much today. I might even get the magics painted. Love the look of the orange ones on I think it was j.d's ute......

at standard height im not too sure what youd have to do. there's plenty of theads about 20x10's. shouldnt be too hard to find out.
-
I'm assuming you have a sedan? Mine are 20x10 rears with 295/30/20 tyres and only srcubs on hard bumps at this height ( airbagged with adjustable koni shocks in the rear)
-
hmm what are they? meisters would be nice lol
-
So im currently deciding if I should get vertini magic's...... Would do them matte black or just silver. Ive got D1R's on at the moment but looking for concave rather than dish. Ive seen heaps of pics with magics on but not a whole lot with D1R's so here are a few of my ute with them on.. Anyone's opinions are appreciated! *sorry the photo's arent focused too well!

done. thnx jd

true. might be better off just sandblasting and painting the rims depending how long the vinyl would last on the rims...
-
can anyone shed some light on wrapping the dishes of rims? obviously there'd have to be a join in the vinyl but im thinking of getting gloss white dishes painted but I like the idea of vinyl more!! will it look any good and who knows where I could get it done? not too confident myself. I'm located right near Ringwood (eastern burbs melb) if it helps. also want to get my roof wrapped gloss black if anyones up for abit of a cashy
-
your right. they seriously dont look like 20s at times so wouldnt mind changing it up abit. not too sure how the fronts will look with a white dish as theres not much of a lip on them! The wheels used to just be polished and looked WAY bigger before they were powdercoated black.

Lenso D1R 20x8.5 with 245/35/20 falken fk452 and 20x10 with 295/30/20 P-Zero. Offset im not 100% sure. Thinking of stripping the black dish and painting the lip white.....

Hey guys, Ive got Lenso D1R 20x10's on the back of my f6 ute at the moment. running p zero 295/30/20 tyres. Looking at a pilot sport 305/25/20 and wanting to know if it will fit? I will obviously get the guards rolled as they are factory at the moment (with almost no scrubbing (only on harsh bumps when im carrying some speed)). Its bagged in the back so can alter ride height if need be but would really like to keep the same look as I have now... any help would be awesome. cheers!

hmmm thanks for the response guys. your right FG50T, it is a good price but didnt realize an angle grinder would be involved... id be okay with it if it was just abit of plastic trimming but I think im convinced to get the PW now. HIROF6, thank for the advice, ill get onto PW about the cold side pipe only! Cheers

Victoria, seems alot of the good ute's are in brisbane!

Hey guys, I dont want this to start a "who's better" or any arguments but I have an FG F6 with injectors, pump and a 3.5" turbo back exhaust and the time has come for a cooler. My car burst the hotside pipe after it was tuned and the previous owner then replaced the hotside with a new hardpipe (rather than the whole piping kit). My options are either the Rapid V1 kit with full piping (including throttle body elbow) and have to cut (although I havent seen any instructions with where and was has to be cut)? OR Process West stepped intercooler (core only) and keep the hotside hard pipe and the rest of the factory cooler piping. I'd much prefer not to have to cut anything on the car so was leaning towards PW although dont want to then have to do a full piping kit if the cold side goes... I'm looking to get around 350-370rwkw (makes 335 now) so both should do it with ease, I'm just not sure about the piping if I go with PW core only... Any info or opinions would be great! Thanks

Bought it from my brother in law so I got a good deal. Now it just needs a cooler and 4" intake and I should be set for a while.
-
nah ill have to get some. doesnt go much lower than that. was set up for rear load assist but then added a compressor ect for it to all be controlled from inside the car. its a pretty decent system. pretty fast dump and its not exactly slow going up either

Hey guys, Had a few XR6 turbo's in the past but was time to make the upgrade to an F6. ZF Auto 335rwkw X-force 3.5" Injectors Cooler pipes 20x8.5 & 20x10" rims (295 rear tyres) GT Bonnet XYZ coilovers in the front, reset leafs and koni shocks in the rear bagged in the rear fully optioned aftermarket stereo

I think the process west will be what I end up going with (depending on price). good to know up to 400rwkw can be supported. 350ish is my goal so I guess ill wait for a price and testing from process west. Thanks for the quick response guys!!
