Ive got a Bf 6speed auto mods so far include, nizedit drilled injectors valve springs gutted cat My car is going back to nizpro on wednesday for a retune, I might be adding a wog cooler in that time aswell im aiming for about 290rwkw which is plenty for me.. my question is at that power level should I upgrade my fuel pump or has the factory pump got enough flow for this level of power safely? Mark

gutting it, keeping the stock ford cat but removing the insides

Ive got the following modifications to my BF 6speed Auto custon edit and tune from nizpro valve springs drilled injectors so far my power is up around the 270rwkw mark.. my question is if I gut the cat how much of an increase in power and torque should I expect? I know some of u dont agree with what I might be doing but I just want your opinions that's all.. im going to get it retuned after I gut it Mark

asromanut, are you a cog swapper, if so the times are not a disaster. If you are Auto.... mid 12's should be a certainty ← Buf-Phoon, ive got a BF and its got the ZF 6speed auto, pretty lame 60ft time.. I left traction control on and just floored it, is there a better way to launch? Mark

Hello every1 Well back in April I had the Nizpro edit aand injectors done... end result was 270rwkw which im very happy with.. only managed to get it out to calder last week and had 3 runs all pretty crap :( 1. 13.2 @ 111mph 2. 13.8 @ 109mph 3. 13.6 @ 109mph now all my 60ft times were dodgy all around the 2.5, 2.6 secs mark Im going to get the wog cooler and gut the cat.. how much more power should I get with these modifications? Should I take the car back to nizpro after I get the intercooler and gut the cat? Mark

the injectors were a staight swap for nizpro's drilled injectors

that drop is attributed to the stall coverter of the ZF, if u full throttle at about that point it shifts back down to 3rd. you cant fell it at all on the road though, also dave saw that it was making big power, so dave pulled a little boost out then brings it back in again a little later on, once the software to optimise the stall converter and shift points becomes available simon said he can tune the even more and getter better mid range and top end power. ps, the air/fuel graphs are in lambda.. ill post them up a bit later regards Mark

Well I finally did it! Made the treck upto bayswater from coburg yesterday to get some nizpro magic done to my car.. Ive got a BF with the ZF auto. The plan was to get an edit plus the drilled injectors, as well as that I was also considering changing the valve springs.. Anyways off came the rocker cover and to our surprise my car was running the thicker heavy duty F6 springs no need change them then. Dave put the car up on the dyno for a stock run 1st up and it made 197rwkw with a very linear and smooth power progression, much smoother than a BA in stock trim.. Next step was the injectors so in they went, and then started the process.. Dave was very persistent and helpful.. he even let me stay in the workshop the whole time explaining every aspect of the tuning process to me, all I can is a big thanks to Dave for putting up with my constant questions! After about 12 runs on the dyno Simon and Dave managed 271rwkw.. with a massive increase in mid-range power.. the difference is about 100rwkw in a few places.. Anyway the time came to give it a good test and all I can say is that the mid-range surge is unbelieable! The car was actually wheel spinning into 4th gear that's with just above half throttle from about 80kmph.. The drivablity is excellent, very smooth idle and just drives around like stock, the mrs wont even realise what ive done! A big thanks goes to simon and dave who made sure the tune was perfect regarding air\fuel and power delivery.. I dont think ive spent so little money for such a result.. im still trying to get to grips on when I can open it up a little, the car just takes off like a rocket! Ill post the dyno sheets later and u guys can tell me what u think Regards Mark

sh*t man, any idea what caused this? If your going to be at nizpro tomorrow ill see you there.. im getting my custom edit done regards Mark

Ive got a BF, are these valve springs larger than that of the BA's? The cat should not be a problem as it is much larger than the stock BA unit Regards Mark
-
Hello every1, Just a question.. can I safely get a custom edit with injectors or do I need valve springs? Regards Mark

Can someone please tell me where I can purchase this cooler.. looks like a good option.. im in melb regards Mark

I was on the phone yesterday to dave and he told me that the 2nd cai was'nt really needed either, but I really wanna install 1 to future proof the car if I go for more mods in the future.. Im pretty sure that the BF cat does have better flow properties than the stock BA item. Exactly bcl, im not after huge numbers, somewhere between 275 to 290rwkw ill be very happy.. what im looking for is explosive mid-range power, with good driveability.. Once the software to mod the ZF is released I will then get a retune to optimise the stall converter and shiftpoints.. I believe habib in sydney is doing this with his F6 regards Mark

Hello every1 Well ive finally booked my car in to get the stage 1 cobra kit from nizpro, includes injectors, valve springs and custom tune I cant wait! ive got a few questions to ask so here goes.. What sort of power should I expect to get with the kit in rwkw? I really wanna get a 2nd cold air intake.. but where would I buy say the typhoon cai or a SS inductions style? Would I need to change my cat? ive got a BF with the ZF 6speed and from ive been told is that the BF's have a larger cat.. is this correct? Regards Mark
