  3. Congrats on your new ride...as for power its never enough... And if you want to save some money, try installing some of things yourself or a friend that knows what his doing...

    A mate of my runs that on his Ea turbo...pushing 420rwkw...I know a few guys with the xr6 turbo's running the GT42.XX as an upgrade to their stock turbos.

At that time I had a process west st 2....works very well at 300 but if you going beyond that like 350ish I suggest you go for a stage 3 version or a big one from the other brand names.Theres a guy on here selling a st2 .... Give C&V a call and have a chat to them I see there got a lot of cars running great times.

Yeh 2.5 60 ft is very very bad for a 4 speed auto....should be 2.0 and the temp was 20c so not hot at all.....um and your mph I think was 106???? that's not even close to 300rwkw...more like 240-250, so something is up if your 60 ft is 2.5.....were u wheelspinning? If u get your 60ft down to 2.0 that should make you around the 13.0 mark...and get rid of that cooler cause its dropping you power level as your racing down the qtr.
  7. What do u mean standard xr6t times what time did u run...left or righ lane? My ute with 302rwkw tuned by nizpro ran 12.08 on mt streets, so 300 will eqaute to around low 12s maybe even a high 11...and dont forget air temp at the time u race also has an effect..especially with your wog cooler...it just isnt up to the task at 300
  8. Well it says 12psi actuator if u look on his sig...and not to mention a built bottom end....I know if I had even just typhoon rods on mine id be pushing it alot harder..but each to there own...300 is still good on the street.

Yeh its really hard to say on your timeslip vs power on street tyres as it could be anything..but what I can say is I had the exact same power with a 2800 stally...the only difference is I ran Mt street slicks and my time was 11.38 119mph....So id say go back out there and run some better tyres as youll be amazed how well it pushes u in the seat with the right set up.......congrats dude on your time as it is very difficult on street tyres especially with a convertor.

  12. Just got back home after being out...went for a spin in James's car.....far out it goes really well....the icc was showing 26 degrees...I cant wait to go in it on a colder day, good stuff boys

That is a record in itself....Mines done 40 thousand Kms, heaps of drag runs and a couple of killer burnouts. and its still goin.... and also getting your transmission hot peoples will destroy your autos..so for all you guys driving around in slightly modded T's with standard 4 speed.....Get a proper transmission cooler and it will DELAY THE INEVITABLE.....

  20. So the standard exhaust is fine prob change the cat and youve already got the centre muffler removed and go and get a touch up retune
  21. What exactly have u done and what power is it making..the reason why I ask is that if your not after a huge gain a standard exhaust might be ok ..so what power are you making now and what power do you want to get to...
  22. Best spend the money on your renovations....cause it will cost you again when u have to change it cause its too restrictive...trust me.

In my ute I did have surge problems and also use to suk air instead of fuel when opening up the throttle on a 1/4 of a tank,when 1st starting to mod...but when I went to investigate it myself found out that the pump was not intalled properly by the reputable shop....the pump was sitting higher in the swirlpot, so changed the pump to a walbro gss340 it has a larger pickup on the bottom of the pump and have had no dramas since....no surge tank no anything...just the intank pump. Sedans cant do this as theres sit higher, so need a surge tank.
