Nizpro stage 2 kit passes emissions testing. If u get done u have to go to the likes of nizpro alliance and get them to do a retune and theyll supply u with the necessary paperwork. ps... and by the sounds of it your drunk every minute of every day.
Just have some spare cash incase you destroy the tailshaft when u boost it off the startline. Other than that wait till its cooler see what the weather is like in 2 weeks at calder, it might be alot cooler. Talk to spoolman about launching methods as his f6 does 1.6 60ft, his on here but moreso on fordforums.com.au
I've had 355rwkw with the stock crossover on the dyno, and that was going through a convertor as well, never ran it down the strip, too worried id run out of fuel as the injectors were maxed out as it is and running a bit lean.
1.83 isnt bad as you would of got less boost off the line due to the 37c heat, as for putting a convertor in I dont think that's possible for the 6 speed autos. you can up the std one a couple of hundred rpms that's about it I think.
I'd be taking it back to the tuner to get it rectified, otherwise youll have a bill for 6k or so in rebuilding your engine. If he still cant fix it id be asking for a full refund and take it to someone who knows what theyre doing. ps yes plugs get regapped to 0.8 or slightly less depending on tuner preference.
Probably a good idea to put it on the dyno to run it up and check mixtures to see if its running out of fuel, that will eliminate that theory, and also might show up something else in the tune. It should only cost u 50-100 to run it up.
They wont let u run with full slicks on the back and radials on the front, but I think your talking about mt et drag radials. that's what pretty much all the XR's are running bar a small number.
