My btr has been in my ute for 2.5 yrs now and have not had a drama, power is 350rwkw , countless passes down the strip and clocked over 68000kms, so I think this subject will be a slogging match wether its good to have a strengthened 4 speed or go c series. all I can say is my own experience and I have only payed for my auto to get strenghtened once. It is a workute and daily driver so my only suggestion is that if you are a daily driver I wouldnt be putting a glide in it, unless its a dedicated drag car, or occasionally sees the street for a cruise/sleeps in the garage.
  2. As far as I know the quickest is karmens gtech 9.2 or sumthing on pump fuel..im joking.... So what im saying is, alot of ppl say it runs pump fuel, I dont see any verification or any procedures so these claims can be backed up. so if so and so says its on pump fuel... 9/10 times its probably bullsh*t.

The problem is that your pump is not sitting down properly in the surgetank,its too high, I had the same problem when autotechnique put my fuel pump in, I ran out at of fuel at half a tank ..go figure that one out. After they fixed it itll still gulp air at qtr tank, so I pulled it out, and found the filter they used wasnt letting the pump sit all the way down. Now I run out of fuel with 20kms to empty going by the trip computer. :-)
  4. I know of a couple of cortinas, that would be awesome power to weight
  5. it will show less on the dyno of around 20-25kw but it will make up a hell of alot down the strip.
  6. torque control settings what needs to be adjusted , I had the same problem, throttle would shut down momentarily upon stalling up.

  14. Geez are you going to push this power through your typhoon bottom end you just put in. Like henz said T04Z will get you to the 450 and you probably want to plumb back in external gate, cause they are loud *uckers for the street

  18. Damn never heard of anyone breaking tailshafts on a ute. What power and transmission u running?
  19. Not all hoses are submersible for intank use, the one that's in there at the moment is not, that's why its swelled up, you have to get a hose that can be used intank. I cant remember which one it was but search on here there should be a thread on it.
