Its amazing with todays technology that we have to resort to a old C series,T series or powerglide to handle the power. Whoever comes up with a 6speed auto that holds alot of power might be on a winner here and abroad. I know of one 4 speed in the states that can keep it together for low 9s. Hope you get it all sorted Shannon.

Did they tell explain to you what they have done to the box?

You should also get your tuner to adjust line pressures, torque management and retune if u have not had a convertor previously to this trans.

There's a fair amount of changes computer included, alot cheaper to change the vehicle.

I'll just bail her out and let it burn, then hopefully I can buy the green machine 6 boost car that's for sale :-) When's the tune happening ??

No offence but you should really ask your tuner why, maybe he has put a little more boost and alot less timing cause its a BA, also how many kms the engines travelled maybe played a part.

Gained 17rwkw, (366rwkw) but il be going to Calder to go for my personal goal ,and that is to run it with all the factory piping and std turbo, if I manage to crack a ten with that, then I will be taking off the pipe to the turbo and going at it without that restriction and see how that goes. Then after Calder, I will be fitting a Nizpro kit , and maybe a larger turbo, will have to wait and see if I win Tatts this week.

Have u got a trans cooler fitted, and you should get the 4 speed auto built up ($2800-3000). Mine is built and has been going for 3 yrs and I dare say you might not be running as much as me. Also if you have been booting it in 4th gear, you will destroy the box quicker. Full throttle is only for gears 1,2, and 3. Another thing is the tune side of things, has your tuner increased the line pressures, etc. All these things will give your trans longevity. So check to see if you have done any of these things.
