It can be many things, but those two mentioned sound like they could be the problem, that's why I said to throw it on the dyno. -

If you want to go that low, be prepared to cop a unroadworthy on a weekly basis, not to the mention the damage it can do when something hits underneath.

Nizpro did that once, and rebuilt the engine stronger and more powerful over a weekend. that's a business that owns up and turns a negative to a positive.

Will handle it no probs, and save you a few grand changing it to a different transmission.

If its popping it could be running out of fuel, can be fuel pump or regulator, if I were you id throw it on the dyno and check the afrs on a full throttle run, and dont go thrashing it, as it can result in a dead engine, and then were talking thousands of dollars. -
Keep the 6 speed, there are guys running 500rwkw+ with them when theyre built properly,also having the Zf tune helps with longevity as well, as the shifts are harder and sharper, which in turn stops the clutches from wearing out and flaring.

You will definately need a retune, 98% of cases that you change on your car(performance wise) will need a retune. If you dont there will be consequences and can be expensive ones of that. There is more flow on the billet wheel, its a simple retune and shouldnt cost much if you went back to your tuner for a touch up.

Well done tony, what fuel for the drag tune? I'm also at between 19-20 psi boost was holding fairly steady, what actuator do you have at the moment ?
