  1. Fullboost just uploaded a pic from Calder... Have a good look at the rear tyre...
  2. nice going, I recognise the username now..you were behind me in the pit lane.
  3. There is a guy with a turbo 6 cortina, I dont think he is a member on here though.
  4. After going all around Europe...Australia is just one big rip off country, we should throw out the parliment and keep the fukers honest. On another note..... The local Australian farmer get 12c a kilo for his oranges, yet that's too much, so we will buy it from some cheap sh*t country and make even more money, not to mention it is sprayed with toxins that are banned in Australia, and are far from quality and also far from fresh. This is a corporate world and they just want to make even more massive profits than the massive profits they are making now.
  5. I bought second hand one and gave it to pedders in Dandy , they send them out to get done, couldnt feel much of a difference when I put them in, best go 90/10 koni's Pm senna
  6. Yes indeed, but not yet, I still want another shot with the factory turbo, Danny said he will play around with the tune a tad more. Yeh it is a Atomic 698 motor, ive had it in there for about a year and a half now. Suspension wise I've only had the front springs revalved, the rest of the car is how it left the factory back in 05. Weight wise, ive had it on the weighbridge before but that was with radials... and it weighed in at 1890kg with me in it. I have since changed to Hoosier slicks and front runners, as the ute suspension just wasnt doing it out of the hole on radials anymore. I went to Heathcote this year for a 1.58 60 ft and Calder recently netted a better 60ft with a 1.48.
  7. Maybe it got too hot on the dyno... Heat is the major destroyer of transmissions
  8. If its burnt out the clutches its obviously slipping through the gears, valve body issue perhaps?, pressure problem? My Btr 4 speeds clutches were not far off new when it was inspected after 4 yrs.
  9. I've been using the smaller diameter convertor for 4 yrs now, its 2800 stall but very loose,it's been rebuilt twice though as it doesn't have a very long lifespan.
  10. Nah I've been using cheetah race fuel e85 blend. When I put the aftermarket turbo on it, il probably tune it to united e85.
  11. Might go back out again to try for a 10.3X, will have a look into it and see what needs to be done. Speak to Danny
  12. All my other runs we're in the 129's that's probably why Ive put it in. 60 ft was also a personal best, I dare say that running full slicks has helped me alot to get this factory rearend launching. Still running the atomic 12mm headstuds.
  13. Different transmissions will account for different figures also. convertor vs std convertors too. 20 per sec seems a bit high I think.
  14. No problems at all now. Did not lose a drop. Heres the timeslip from friday night.
  15. Won't be doing that, still need it for work, otherwise my tools will go missing with an open tray :-)
  16. Managed a 10.44 last night at Calder Park, still utilizing the factory turbocharger and built 4 speed auto. Running a stage 2 nizpro kit and xforce exhaust on E85. Big congrats to Danny (headsex)for his tuning abilities to get the ute down to 10.44.
  17. Thanks mate, factory turbo still on there as well which makes even more sweeter.
  18. Well they've found another hurdle I guess, more development for niZpro, once that's sorted , watch how hard this thing will launch
  19. There's gotta be an award for that .. Plus the dedication of the team to go back and get you another one , drive back , fit it up so you can have another crack.10/10
  20. Backed up 10.44 shake and bake lol
  21. Thanks I'm at te back of the line now
