  1. 10.30 now , still using 98 ? Looks like you picked up some more power, 60 ft maybe isn't as good as Calder park, I've found .
  2. Everyone loves the Gtx as you can see. It has the bigger front wheel and front cover as you mentioned, it is more beneficial going the gtx as it has a billet wheel and is a new design in Garrett turbochargers. It will outperform the setup that Rob has put forward to you.You can buy them for 1580 through one of the guys on here. I'd prefer xtreme ford tuning out of the 2 major tuners over there.
  3. 66mm front wheel, the std gt3582 turbo has a 62mm wheel, and the 0.7 is the front housing, they come 0.5 standard. There are very good gains going this way, all depends how much power do you want.
  4. You need a xcal to flash the computer, there's no other way around it .
  5. I'm running the smaller diameter convertor, Grant from bayswater transmissions did it to his specifiactions after giving him feedback. It's very streetable, and my 60 fts have dropped with the help of slicks as well. 1.48 60 fts, but this size convertor will not last 8 yrs, more like 2 yrs, your better off staying with the std sized convertor.
  6. There's nothing wrong with the stock crossover setup, especially if you still have the stock cooler. I went 11.0 with the std crossover and intake. Save your pennies for injectors, a decent cooler and a free flowing exhaust.
  7. Sure is , there's no mid in my tune.. Just holds 20 flat from the word go.
  8. I'm sure we will find out very soon.
  9. That noise could be sheared fins on the stator.
  10. Drop the sump and check to see if you have metal everywhere, of it's the convertor your most likely throwing alot of metal through the trans, best change the convertor very soon and flush the oil. It can ruin the whole box.
  11. Next time your out at the strip, hook up a go pro to show the rpm stall on the line and the 60ft on the timeslip
  12. I used to get about 15 passes on my radials but with a 5-7 secs burnout. Great job on that 60ft with a std stall convertor. 1.9 was all I could get with the std stall 5 yrs ago
  13. Yeh I was doing 1.62 before that run, as power increased the 60ft were effected, that's why I went with the full slicks, the ute couldn't get off the line anymore when I was pushing 400. It went 10.86 with a 1.78 60ft. After that I put the slicks on and went 1.58 at Heathcote and then 1.48 at Calder . I have alot more consistency now with my times, before it was a hit and miss and a waste of time.
  14. I think it was a 8 psi, still turned the old radials. I know I had dramas with traction that night.
  15. Tony from Yarra Valley, he built my 4 speed as well and it's still going 5 yrs later.
  16. Std trans won't lasts long slipping through each gear change, you need to do build the trans
  17. That's why I have more faith in my std Ba engine than my built engine lol
