For those interested in changing their TP Sensor - from the BA 03-05 manual

I have a similar problem as described above. Mine does the dipping of the revs, feels like she's gunna stall then back up. But its worst when im going along and slam the clutch (5 spd manual 04 BA) in while braking .....it then like almost totally conks out :-( might look at cleaning the throttle body to.

I have the same issue, I dont notice it that much cause I have my music up to loud. But when im driving miss daisy, each bump in the road produces that annoying sound :(

Hey Guys, I'm interested (and can finally afford finally) in getting my tripod and gauges for my turbs. I've been looking at the Pole Position Tripod kit for $590 - But have just passed by amazon.com and found the following: Autometer COBALT 6121 US$66, 6103 US$75 and 6131 US$92 with free US delivery. I was thinking of using the www.priceusa.com service to get them delivered here costs around US$43 + commision %5 Total US$289 So total AUS$335 (using exchange rate at 83c) + $155 for tripod from pole position Total AUS$490 Im tossing up whether its worth the effort to get the cobalts this way or get the xforce's in the kit. Has anyone got a price using the gauges I've mentioned, bought locally?????? id prefer the cobalts, but if the prices are similar then I'd certainly take the xforces. Thanks in advance guys. Jman

my right side fog lamp was loose (cracked aswell, must have been a rock) to, I managed to squeeze my hand in past the intercooler and around to push the clips back into place. Then got the dealer to replace it, only cost me $9 for the replacement

I was charged $1300 with NRMA, am 23. All the others wouldnt even bother with me. When I was still looking at cars I was tossing up between the 8 or the turbs, and NRMA wanted $2000 for the 8, and once again none of the other large companies would touch me.

well received a few quotes from a few people best was $100 (souther automotive, in tuggeranong) if I paid for the oil, the others were $180 (midas) and $220 (local bloke). I picked up 10L of Nulon 10w40 Full Synthetic for $100 at repco. The annoying thing is it only comes in 5L and 6L bottles, rather annoying considering the turbs takes 7L. They also had redline asking $100 for 2L.

Well I spoke to midas, and apparantly the 75,000 is a minor service. They quoted me $180. Did mention 90,000 was the big one.

im glad you created this thred apac77. Im about to do my 75k service on my 04BA, ill take some advice in this thread and check out midas and some others (in canberra), will let you know the quoted price.
