  1. Doing a service on my car on weekend just wanted to check some stuff.. coolant - castrol radicool should this be okay? Also the engine has 90ks on it so would a 10/40 oil be okay? btw the car is edited cheers
  2. Just got mine back from warranty service yest. Similiar thing, tightened the heat shields and she is all sweet now
  3. Thanks boys, will give it a go
  4. What do u guys use to clean your leather seats in your xr6 turbo? A mate of mine has done a number on mine maybe keys in his pocket (no-one has ever eaten in the car) Anyone have any suggestions as to what to get to try and clean it??
  5. money?
  6. Anyone know of the top of their head what the battery number is? Also what battery would u recommend? My stockie died and out of desperation I went to autobarn and got a centrury 57f I think it is. just a bit confused because I was told 380 or 540 from ford and different numbers from other places my stock battery the sticker which has all that stuff on it coroded off lol so it was hard to tell discuss
  7. Ive noticed lately alot of speed cameras going up in the front on direction. Hume hwy just outside the public school at bankstown is an example Also the new cameras are infra red and pick up your number plate, they wont even flash
  8. the armrest which folds down. So basically the backing on the seats
  9. Going to make something on the weekend to sit a set of 6" speakers in the middle of the 2 rear seats I think. Will see how it goes. Failing that I guess it'll have to be boxes on the shelf :@
  10. Valid point. I already have a set of kicker 6" splits in the front doors, pioneer head unit sitting in a mount made to fit the tissue box, 6" jls with inbuilt tweeters on the rear tray and a kicker 12" and clarion 12" in the boot. I've still got a bit of gear left over (400w pioneer 6x9s and a set of rockford 6.5) that I'd like to put in there and the jls on the rear tray are only there b/c I couldnt fit the 6x9s without making an ugly looking mount Dont really want to put 6x9s on the rear shelf as it will look sh*t, id like it to look stock as possible. I'm just trying to figure out my options, I'm thinking maybe some mouints to stick another set of splits in the front doors then.
  11. Hey all, Has anyone on here made some rear door pods up? I am in the progress of my stereo install and I am thinking of getting some rear door pods made up to fit a 6"x9" and a 6/.5", and then cover them with leather to match the seats. Just wondering if anyone has done this and may have some pictures? Kenny
