I always thought Jaffa's were Red ? might I suggest that in the event, that said Red Jaffa's turn a deep, vibrant and yet classy yellow hue after you have chewed on them that you seek the aid of the nearest medical practitioner at your earliest convenience. Gary :-)

rev limiter varies from about 5800 and 6200 rpm depending on conditions and, therefore, there's no redline marked on the tacho. Gary

Got away pretty light actually, I hit one in a Magna about 10 years ago and it did $8000 worth of damage, the car had to be towed away and it busted the engine mounts on impact. Gary

I'm looking to install a boost gauge in my T when it arrives, I've heard that you can get one that fits inside the clock (luxury interior pack ordered) on the centre consol, does anybody know where I can source one and have it fitted here in Melbourne ? and how much it would cost ? Can I ask how you normally drive ? do you drive the car hard, what mods do you have fitted, does it have an edit etc.. the reason I ask is it just doesn't gel that the engine can just "blow". I'm just trying to get my head around the amount of damage caused, when you went around the roundabout did you plant it ? or as you mention just cruised around and prior to the engine letting go had you given it an excessive fang? something that may have weakened the engine. Sorry, bit verbose but I'm getting a T in a couple of weeks and just wanted to know. Gary

I heard that about the Auto as well, and I took one for a drive and was very impressed...but I like to drive and I love nothing better then mountain roads or going down the great ocean road.. and a manual makes me feel like I'm a part of the car, and when you do a really sweet downshift and power away it's a great feeling. The Auto box is quicker off the mark, quicker down the straight and theirs no way I can out perform a computer. But the wait is killing me, and the longer I wait the more I think I should have gone for the 18" wheels. Gary

I'm getting mine in 2 to three weeks, they build it on the 20th June, delivery late June Early July, Octane with Lux Interior, iPod connector 6 speed Manual. Getting it on a lease which is kick a@#$, $41K on the road and save on Tax as well... now does anybody want a blue XR6 BA MK1 ???? Just kidding, putting my old XR6 on the market as I figure I'll get more for it than as a trade. Gary
