what about flashlube to prevent it? also with vapour injection systems they start up on petrol hence the motors get some lubing up. majority of taxis run the el cheapo venturi mixer systems and wouldn't be getting any lube hence the damage. also I don't think the heads on the taxis would have been hardened and hence able to live happily with gas. with direct injection, I don't see a problem at all. in fact, I'm new to the forum and looking at the possibility of lpg'g a turbo territory. if it's a go'er, I'm looking at trading up for one.
