How'd you go with the dealer?

My F6 Tornado gets 20l/100 according to the trip computer. I usually get 400km's to the tank before the fuel light comes on. Mostly start stop / City driving, very rarely highway driving. Only mods are Cat and K&N.

I curious as why you only pulled 220rwkw stock? I thought you'd pull 230-240. I have to get my F6 on the dyno. Stock except for K&N and High Flow Cat.

Well I picked the car up and apart from them trying to charge me for some clamps to fix a rattle in the exhaust all went well. The price for the service was $180. The car also feels better now. They fixed a problem in the steering rack. Overall I'm quite happy, even thou I have had problems in the past with them.

Holy sh*te!!! I've got my F6 at Trinity Ford (Cairns) now for an early 10,000kms service. Also got some small problems that should be covered under warranty. I asked them what they are going to do for the service becuase it's early (due to the 6 month or 15k bs) they told me basically the oil and oil filter, I wonder how much they're going to charge me. I've also has a N/A XR6 wich the killed the power steering pump on and did nothing about it. I decided to give them this one last chance, if they shaft me I'll never go back there again, I'll take it to another Ford dealer maybe in Innisfail or Tully.

Go for the Tornado...... No other reason but I did. On a serious note, the Ute is cheaper and will give you more change for mods.

Get the paint protection done on it. Better safe than sorry.
