  1. anyone got a pic of how the pod sits just using a cut down 3" bend?
  2. is there an off the shelf pipe either in ally or moulded silicon to go from the turbo to the place where the battery sits? I have already relocated the battery and want to move the pod from under the battery to an airbox I'll make for where the battery was. $700 to buy a filter/box/pipe seems pretty steep so I was hoping to be able to just buy the pipe section
  3. any year territory rear brakes will work?

    Fpv Or Xr6T?...

You have to consider the other extra's the FPV comes with, not only the name and style, extra creature comforts and bigger wheels but also the fact it's got Brembo's as standard (which will cost you a few grand to upgrade the XR6T) and also the better resale of the FPV. The better brakes are a MUST for the amount your towing
  5. See Craig! My work here is done. That last post by bentxr was in fact recognisable as English.
  6. Please, rephrase my post so as it may be of proper English standard. There was nothing incorrect about the first sentence, "maybe" can imply a question and would be read as such by finishing the sentence with the question mark, using a full stop would not have been contextual as the first sentence was a suggestion by inference. I do however acknowledge I missed a full stop at the end of my post. Also exclamation is not spelt "exclaimation"
  7. Maybe put the money towards an education? $1000 could buy you a full course in grammar and punctuation as well as other skills you should have had before leaving high school
  8. overturning that roller would have been a feat. I'm suprised the power lines held the car up, something a bit suss there
  9. A shiftkit is also a very cheap solution to preventing slipping on changes
  10. The biggest hurdle is finding someone to do it, everyone is booked solid
  11. that's a good price for a BF XR6T, but what is the excess?
  12. that's not a bad price for a professional solution to the butchery the auto-wash did. I remeber when I was about 13 and mum's friend took her 2 week old car through an auto car wash and it left heaps of little scratches and dents in it. Since then I knew never to take a car through those auto-washers. I used to go to the manual washing places but I wash the brushes first. Now I have a bucket at home with a big sponge, an old sock, 2 chamois, amorall wash, meguires wet look polish, 2 different mild cutting compounds (rarely used, only to get scratches out or remove faded/discoloured paint) and a big roll of polishing towel. Oh I also have a can of hairspray in the bucket for the numberplates for after each wash, to protect them......
  13. the one's you can pick up new for around $250 are the smaller yellow tops, unless your after the space or weight saving I would go the full sized yellow top. I ve got mine mounted in the boot so I can have the airbox on the turbo side and because they are a sealed gel battery you don't have to vent them to outside the car and you can mount them any way they fit (sideways, upside down ect.)
  14. Edit- my mistake, I thought you mean't you were going to pay that much here's the specs on the optima I run if it's of any interest
