I agree with most of that but not all of it. Limos loose value more then anything and I don't think anyone paid over 50 for a lux pack XR. The things that seem to hold there value best are the utes.

And how much was removed from the fg to make it fit? They are like 900 now for the full kit, they must be having a fair bit of trouble moving them or something?

The 10k premium over an XR you pay for a G6 disappears instantly lol That orange one was say $46,000 4 years ago and mine was $56,000 2 years ago. Farking Fords. Finding a cheap one with low kays will be the challenge, you usually get one or the other. And if you want it fully optioned forget about it, just giving you the heads up as I went through the exact same thing 12 months ago.

Yeah technically ours shouldn't be illegal but if in doubt revert back to rule number one when modifying a car.. Everything's illegal if it's been a slow day.

I bought mine cause I couldn't find an XR with lux pack, most people probably buy limos for that reason. Interesting to see how the new ones go considering how sh*t they look.

Good idea Gaz, Finding a venue is going to be pretty hard, because of insurance costs and things like that. If you can get a set list of what people want to do then you might be able to sort out what area you need? I.e do you need power tools or not etc.

That's a good point too, it's not the hardest thing in the world to change if you don't like it. Not like going from auto to manual, now that can be expensive..
