Most people that bring it up go onto say that it is a very expensive exercise after doing some research. What sort of power will you need tyres for? You might get away with just some quality tyres on the standard rim.

Fixed. No matter how many tuners say it is physically not possible to go over 330ish on 98 with stock turbo people still try for the claim to fame. Why?

Why? When you can buy a better built, cheaper Japanese car? Most Jap cars have better warranties and resale too. They're trying to enter a market that is dominated by much better more refined cars. And if it does somehow work won't that just devalue the falcon even more as more and more of these 4 bangers flood the market as fleet vehicles/taxis/retirees Why not just call them a mondeo and be done with it.

If you had to stick with a Ford you could probably build a 10 second ba for 35 couldn't ya? Properly I mean, built engine/gearbox etc.
