  1. Thanks for orgainising the cruise guys. It was my first cruise and I really enjoyed it. Thanks Dalts and Eddie for helping me out with my piping issue! Will definately come on your next cruise it was fun. Very proffessional and everyone was surprisingly really well behaved. Thanks Trent for the two way. Steve

  5. Hi mate. BA 4sp auto, 2800 stall 308rwkw = 12.7 @ 115mph 2.05 60ft on 225 20" Nexen N3000's. 318rwkw = 11.4 @ 121mph 1.59 60ft on 245 16" MT et's.
  6. I might come out, haven't been out for ages. Was fairly cool last saturday night so might be good for the turbs. Cheers Steve
  7. I have PM'd you mate. Condolences to your family and your sisters boyfriends family. My thoughts are with you. Sincerely Steve
  8. Yeah mate, if you want it to last you will need to get it tuned by a competant tuner. I can tell you ELITE (archerfield) know how to tune these for reliability. Steve
  9. Cant comment on Boxstop, but I have a box from Peter at Gilroy's and I can tell you its never missed a beat. Bogan from this forum has a box built to the same specs and we both run low 11's all day. Bogan runs 11.06!! From our experience, he knows his sh!t. Do you have a tranny cooler? Steve
  10. Well done Lee! That car is a beast mate. I can imagine when you get full slicks, race fuel, cage etc and have 4 or 5 runs in a row. Hello low 10's! Let me know next time you're going out man. Put my number in your phone plse. Congrats mate Steve 0411 206 780
  11. Hi guys, was just checking out the Willowbank Test and Tune page for the next events and found that the price has gone up to $40 to race (only $2) but what really concerns me is this: Seat belt requirement for cars quicker than 11.99 – MINIMUM four point harness required! Not sure when this comes into effect, I will call them and find out. Steve
  12. Good luck Muzza!!! I'll be there cheering for ya mate, hope you get your 10. Steve
  13. My car has run around 40 passes at willowbank with about half of them in the 11's with MT's and it has not missed a beat. Over a 10month period it has done about 5000k's. Built by Gilroy Automotive and tuned by Elite Automotive. Bought the car from a bloke in Sydney who had it tuned by C&V, it went well but the box stuffed up twice in 1500k's! Once on the drive home to Brisbane, and once about 2 weeks after I got it back to Brissy. Like I said, I then had it rebuilt myself by Gilroy's and tuned myself by Elite and the thing has been faultless. 1.59 60 footers and all!!! GET IT BUILT PROPERLY, GET IT TUNED PROPERLY AND IT WILL LIVE!! Steve
  14. Well one Dave!!!!! That is crazy that 60ft. I did my pb 60 the other night, 1.59 and mate, that felt fast. I cant imagine the G force you felt? What rpm you leaving the line at? Well done mate!! steve
  15. Congrats again mate! Did you get any footage of our run???? Steve
  16. Hey Boge's, congrats on your new PB last night. Won't be long now mate Steve
  17. Well done guys!! I saw that beast, it was behind me when we were lining up at the front gate. I thought it was stock..............then I saw the back rims...................and he didnt pop his bonnet in the staging lanes....................that is one quick machine. Goood job. White F6 did a 10.5 @ 135, fastest B series I've seen to date. I Didnt get to talk to the driver. steve
  18. Hey mate, go to Elite Automotive at Archerfield. The boys there know there sh1t!! They can give your car a run up on the dyno. Tell em Steve sent ya! cheers Steve
  19. Well done mate! that's a good 60ft. Let us know how she goes after the tune. Best of luck Steve
  20. FULL MONTY is spot on with his post (#6) He has hit the nail right on the head. I have had everything done that he said except the cryo treatment, and I got an extra BF clutch plate added plus some mods to the already 2800 stall I had and it cost me 1650. Do what MONTY said and get it serviced regularly and it'll hold mate. My car has been down the strip about 30 times and the gearbox is as strong as the day I picked it up. "Its all in the tuner"!!!!!!!!!!! Steve
  21. You can pick up a genuine bar off ebay for around the 500-800 dollar mark, and you can get a fibreglass bar there as well for 200-400. The glass ones dont fit that well though. I picked up a BA typhoon genuine bar off ebay for 350, I was the only bidder!!!! I got my glass bar for my xt for 175 bucks from spoilertek. Cheers Steve
  22. Well done guys!! That is awesome, congrats to all. Keep us informed of your progress if your gonna go faster. Steve
  23. I agree with Jimmy, stall it up a bit more. My best 60 foot on 20's (nexcens?) was 2.017 with no wheelspin on 307rwkw. Dont know what a standard stally is like but try and stall it to 2400 and you should get your 2.0 60 foot. That will get you down to your 12.4 easy. As for a burnout on street tyres, I've always driven around the water and not done one, and my best 60 foot was with no burnout. Saying that though, I am a tight ass and didnt want to burn my street tyres out. (Get some MT's and you'll be in the 11's for sure with that MPH) Your mph indicates a very low 12 on streets. Good luck mate on your next outing and let us know how you go!!! Sounds to me like the someone has been bitten by the 'drag bug'.Lol Cheers Steve
