I hear that the premium brakes makes a big difference. could premium brakes avoid a mishap like this?

I think there are problems with people who tailgate. they want to go fast by pressuring you. tail gating happens everywhere. it's a personal issue many drivers have. they have no patience. they are in a hurry. perhaps when an accident ocuurs due to tail gating then they will realise it is too late. and by the way, tail gaters do drive pretty fast (most of them I have encountered anyway). but driving 10-15 km/h faster than the average driver means very little in reducing travel time. they are simply using more fuel, costing themselves more, and pose as an danger to the roads.

HI Peoples first post ever here. I've recently graduated from uni and now looking for a car for work-I've had my eyes set on the XR6 Turbo ever since BA was released in 2002. I would appreciate if anyone could give me some guidance on buying a secondhand XR6 Turbo. What should I look for? And how do I avoid Xr6 T's that were poorly looked after? My price range is about $20-22k for a vehicle that's done about 60,000-80,000km's (obviously the lower the milage the better). I prefer an auto too (and I do rather like the blue print colour).
