  1. Will do, looking at the monza photos back to back the core looks different and so do the mounting brackets, depth is only slightly different. Yeah you got your prices right, I used the pw 3.1 kit on my old ba and it kicked ass but looking for a cheap alternative this time :(
  2. Price is 595 via eBay, I was thinking the same thing (about brand and painting it) but wasn't sure if capa would actually do something like that. I'll prob call them tues to find out more. I'll look for some monza pics and see if it matches in the meantime I guess....
  3. Anyone here using a CAPA stepped intercooler and if so is it any good?
  4. yeah I was thinking its a wiring issue, something to do with the movement of the shifter and maybe the ipod/iphone cable not installed properly.
  5. Any update on this topic? My fg does it bad, r) side speakers occasionally stop working when the whine stops and pressing clutch/changing gear makes the sound come and go! WTF!!!!!
  6. hey I looked again at the capa site and found the info I needed, so thanx heaps for your help, turns out a intercooler hose had split
  7. I have a custom yune but ford may have put the standard tune back in the car, I have my flasher box sitting here but cant remember how to re flash the ecu
  8. hey guys, think ford played around with my ecu and car is running sh*t, have capa flasher but cant remember the basic steps of how to use it!! can someone please post the basics of what ignition position to use etc, need help asap. thanx
  9. looks real good, same way id like my car to sit, but are you sure the part number is for the fronts?
  10. on the king springs web page it only has KFFL-57 front and KFRL-68SSL rear for BA XR6. do these part numbers match what people here are using? are they the SL and SSL that people are talking about? and does the car clear 100ml?
  11. my car was tuned bout 2 months ago, black with sunroof, factory 18's and typhoon guages
  12. just thought id mention that I had my BA XR6T tuned there a few months back by Mario and had valve springs, plugs and injectors done and the pricing was great, people skills were great and the car feels fantastic! im very happy with 255rwkw and the way it drives so if anyone here is thinking of getting there car tuned this is a great place
  13. street machine and there ford issues, have all form early 90's til now and even have some early 80's ones use to get perf fords but lost interest, seems to be getting better again but
  14. thanx for the tips guys, the center muffler was was mainly for some noise (but no to much) and like the guy above said, is the F6 cooler good bang for bucks or not much of an up grade? I was under the impression that the F6 intake was good for a bit of power?
  15. I plan to do the exhaust and F6 airbox and then when I get more funds do the edit, so that way im not going back and forth, that's the plan anyhow. and id like to do the injectors at the same time as the tune, id like to make sure that I dont hurt the motor at all. thanx for the feed back on the auto, ill have a hunt for info bout the 4spd, I had one built for my 347 stroker in my old EF and was pretty happy with that, but it had less power than what the XR will put out, but on the other hand the power in the 347 was alot different and like what what said earlier the way it shifts will make a big difference, nothing to harsh but faster than the stock shift.
