nearly the same place, but near the lhs rear passenger door.. just like the utes - it is on the inner part of the rail... you will need 2 spanners to undo it... takes 5 minutes.. cheers.

I thought about doing this too.. but using the passenger side hole where the foglight is for allowing the airflow.. I didnt get much luck as far as responses about if it would work or not.. Havnt tried it yet, but good luck and I hope someone helps you with this.. I think a few people may have thought about it.. but never tried as we dont know how it would preform and if it is worth it? I want to have a 3-4" pipe from the TB going down to a K&N pod filter which sits down near the opening of the bar.. this would suck the cold air.. and also prevent the dirt getting in..

I heard the redline filters are same as k+n. they come from same factory but badged diferent?

falcon73, is the plastic rocker plate chrome plated now? hard to tell from the pic..

I like it, great idea and well made.. love to have on on mine.

I think it shows up more on the Mercury Silver cars.. Mine show heaps when the car is dirty.. The front bar is plastic, but nowhere near the same colour difference..

I like it, looks nice, I think they should extend it over to the lhs/rhs of the rear lights too? just looking at that pic.. the rear bar colour is darker the the body... My Mercury BA has the same issue.. rear bar is darker by a few shades... sorry off subject..

I was thinking of making a bulk lot of air boxes for the barra182 if anyone is interested.. I think there are some out there for the 3v but not the barra?
